Leazer made cataloguing seem cool, hot even. Very much appreciated the depth of the readings as well as the levity Leazer brought to class with his radiant casuality.

Leazer might be an acquired taste- he's a bit rough around the edges, but I'll take a little rambling and the occasional questionable joke when studying a topic as mortifyingly boring as cataloging. Despite his bristles, he does care and care very deeply about what he does, and that earns my respect.

He is very vague because sometimes he trails off during a thought and begins a new thought, confusing you. He interrupts your questions, so he can't answer sufficiently. I received no clarification to the numerous questions I had so I sought out his reader, who was the only real help you will receive in his class. Good Luck!!

He's sounds like a moron. Has high credentials-- there must be some mistake. Sarcastic. Stupid anecdotes that take us off the topic. you can learn more by reading a book, and not have to deal with his opinions. interrupts people before they are done speaking. I just can't see why others are so fascinated by him-- must be his slacker/slouchy appear

The above reviews were pretty accurate. Can't say I was too into the subject matter, so Leazer was the most engaging while giving strange antecdotes or talking about something he was personal interested in.

Professor Leazer is a likeable guy, and he had great anecdotes to tell. However, his lectures tended to meander until it seemed he lost track of his point. His policy of not checking messages makes him hard to get a hold of. One day he kept checking sports scores as he lectured - not cute. But still, I learned stuff and had an OK experience.

Funny guy. Good anecdotes. Makes the class interesting, but bring coffee to early morning classes. Sometimes he can droll.

Greg is very funny, and easy to talk to. You learn a lot about AACR2 and MARC records. You learn stories about the eccentric catalogers and their quirky tendencies.
