Comment:
Poorly organized and the professor is unapproachable. There is SO much reading and content that it gets confusing. The test was difficult and the wording was strange - it is hard to study with so much reading material to review. This course is boring and the professor does not attempt to make it interesting at all. I did not enjoy this class.

Dr. Moorhouse is the worse professor I have ever met. Her response to students' emails are vague and do not even pertain to the nature of their questions. Her comments on the online discussion posts and modules have a lot of grammatical and spelling errors and are useless. Overall, she taught this course harder than it should have been. Avoid her!

You need to rigorously prepare before posting in your discussion board, and paper. Quiz is easy as long as you read the book from your heart. The essay and finals are similar-- they are difficult Tip: ALL YOU need to do is follow her recommended framework in the ethical analysis and you will get a satisfying grade in her essay and the final exam.

Comment:
The material itself is really dry, and she doesn't make it any easier to understand. Her criticism on the group discussions were filled with grammatical errors to the point where it was hard to understand what she was trying to say. Overall, this class turned out to be a lot harder than it should've been thanks to the prof. Avoid her if you can.

Worst professor ever. Is very disorganized, will not reply to e-mails, and she has so many spelling and grammatical errors in the midterm and exam it is almost impossible to understand. Does not give proper feedback on assignments. Did not stop making announcements during the exam and was very rude to students and her TA. Stay away from her class.

I had her as my prof in the online course and she is so disorganized. Told exam format one week before, gave another section an extension on a group essay, never really follows up on emails (and if she does, she just repeats what she says) and none of her comments are really constructive.

Worst prof ever. It's an online course so it should've been way more organized that this. Her instructions are different on the outline compared to d2l. Very hard to follow. Her online midterm had so many grammatical errors, it was very hard to complete. Does not give helpful feedback. Save yourself the time and effort and DON'T TAKE HER COURSES.

Avoid her ASAP when you get to know who your professor will be. A very hard marker. Very frustrating to communicate with her via email because most of the time she will reply with an answer that has nothing to do with your question. Very disorganized and vague. Comments to modules are unrelated to what students have written. Do not take the risk!

Her comments/feedback often had absolutely nothing to do with what you had written. We were graded on grammar and spelling when she should have been. She was rude when writing the exam. When we had questions because the exam was poorly, she looked at us like we were stupid. Her phone rang during the exam and she didn't offer an apology.

Content of course was very interesting. Anne should not be an online teacher though. She is very scattered and none of her feedback is constructive or more than confusing point form notes. She does answer emails fairly quickly but you have to send so many since she usually has conflicting information in the D2L notes. Group discussion is annoying.

Professor Moorhouse is not a very generous marker. Make sure you don't only rely on her notes and read the textbook as well. The midterm was M/C open book, and done online. The final was an essay that you could prepare in advance, you had to come to Rye to write it though. She marks pretty tough on her essays. Avoid this prof if you can!!!

To teach an online class, you need to be organized. Dr. Moorhouse is unfortunately not. Changes readings last minute after you've already done them, doesn't stick to the syllabus (so important for online), is unclear about what she wants, contradicts herself, etc...

Very fair in grading, marks heavily on organization and correct use of APA6. Very clear in what is expected in lectures and what is going to be covered for the examstests. Overall Anne Moorhouse is one of the most knowledgeable nursing professor's I have had.

She's okay. Her disorganization in her power points and blackboard made it difficult for me to follow along in class. However, discussion made up for that. Try to participate in class.

Dr. Moorhouse may appear to be strict and difficult initially, but as the course goes on she warms up to the students is quite easy-going. At times the lecture slides may be a little disorganized, but she delivers the main points quite well. It's not an easy course but it's quite hard to fail it. A do-able 'A' if you put in the work.

This was a great class. Dr. Moorhouse did a fantastic job at making the modules clear and understandable. All concepts are highly relevant to nursing. This was the best class I?ve taken so far - and I'm almost done my degree!

Nice teacher. but unclear when teaching. Tends to go off topic. Does not respond to emails promptly, when she finally does, she tells you to ask her in class. Comes in just about 15mins before class, by that time, she's already swamped by other students and there is not much time to ask her anything.
