A lot of work to do in this class, but for the most part it is very interesting stuff. Much more reading than writing is involved in this class; only 2 papers... but 12-15 page papers.

Not much room for your own opinions in this class. Grading of papers is based on how close you come to writing the exact paper that he would have written himself. He cares more about the number of sources and pages than making good points. The reading and paper writing for this class comprised about 70% of my life. Probably wasn't worth it.

This is by far one of my favorite teachers. He's so interesting and he always has my attention. The class is on the hard side, but it's worth the work. He's deffinately outrageous, but that's what I like about him. I'm always waiting to see what he will do next. I have learned more from him then I have from a lot of other SUNY teachers.

Professor Levesque is probably the smartest man I've ever had the privelage of meeting. Several high degrees from big universities. The course is not hard per say. A lot of work for a 200 level class. Don't take just for the gen ed credit or you will probably fail. 3 big papers but well worth it. You will learn a ton from this man, highly recomende

I don't know the call number it was american slavery western hemisphere. He presents his side of all arguments and grades you on how well you submit to his beliefs. His tests are incredibly hard and he is a bit pompus, the class is interesting though.

I have to say this class is good in the sense it gives you the other side of the argument and opens your mind to what is out there. However, this professor is completely biased and grades you based on how much you agree with his opinion. For some there beliefs about blacks are reinstalled for others it allows us to see what the enemy believes.

You know his classes are decent, but I believe white people love his class more than anything else, because he re-installs the stereotypes they already believe. I like his class because it opens me to the arguments that are out there, and allows me to have all the information I need. I never agree with him, but it helps me be better prepared for the world, because I know what the enemy is thinking and how I can defeat it. YEs his class can eaily offend, but you should still take it.

i've taken multiple classes with DR.G.A.Levesque. He's admittedly over-the-top, but holds his students to a higher standard of academic scrutiny. His antics are not for the easily offended, but for those of us who are easily bored- he keeps us interested.

I got an A minus but I had to fight with him every single day about something ignorant and untrue he said. He loves to blame all black people for the things that they have endured. He has a lot of border line white supremacy comments but you have to call him out on that. He's ok, but just don't believe 75% of the things he tell you

Awful "teacher". Makes immoral comments during class which are above and beyond self expression. does it just for immature shock value. and he grades papers and other assignments with his own opinions in mind and if he likes the student or not. DON'T take any of his classes. very unprofessional
