Moseley is such an endearing professor. He really knows what he's teaching and his History of Economic Thought class was one my favorite classes in the department. Definitely take a class with him especially history of economic thought before he fully retires.

I adore Moseley! Marxian Economics is surprisingly a lot of fun, and he's one of the top in the field. Going to the Odyssey and buying Capital, Volume 1 as your textbook is really nerve-wracking, but Moseley does a great job talking us through the material. He's got a super dry wit and is ragingly liberal. Don't be afraid -- try it!

Seems like a nice man, and pretty helpful one-on-one, but he should NOT be teaching intro lecture courses with large amounts of students. Unclear, RIDICULOUS grading standards (how is it logical that he tells someone they clearly understand the material, but they didn't express it the way he wanted, and so they get a D?!). AVOID his lower levels!

The most boring lecturer I have ever encountered. He is terrible at explaining the fundamental concepts, which leaves you lost as the semester progresses. Avoid taking 100 levels with him, though I bet he's better in the upper levels.

U.S. Economic History is a great class for people who have a hard time with micro and macro but still have an interest in the topic on a historical level. Moseley was very good about providing reading materials that looked at issues from multiple views.
