The first thing this professor asks you to do is call him Greg. Hes awesome and keeps the class alive. Attend class because he explains everything on his tests during class. His homework is not mandatory but is essential to passing the course. If you attend class and take good notes and practice the problems, theres no reason to get blow a B.

His tests are not as bad as people say; you have to know the material though. Basically if you know the material and how to solve problems, you will do fine on the tests. He gives partial credit. I went to office hours a couple times, and he was helpful. DO THE SUGGESTED HOMEWORK! It will help SO MUCH!

You must go to class to pass this course. Greg does not upload any of his "slides" because he just writes on the whiteboard in class. Tests should be easy, but he puts trick questions on them. He is a knowledgeable guy, but he did not know how to teach the material well at all.

This was his first time teaching cal 1 for bio majors and he was absolutely horrible. His exam questions were completely different from the examples he used in lecture. He gave out a couple of quizzes and sometimes they were on the exams and those where the only ones i would get correct. DO NOT recommend.

The textbook isn't actually used, but you need an access code for the online homework. He doesn't teach towards the homework, but it is way harder than his quizzes and tests. As long as you study the exact information he goes over in class, you should be fine.

Greg is AWESOME. Definitely my favorite professor I've had so far. Go to office hours and get to know him, he's fun to have conversations with. He will help you with any questions you have, even on take-home quizzes (or random HW for other classes). The tests are not easy, but ask questions, go to lecture, DO THE SUGGESTED HW, and you'll pass.

This guy is super honest. He won't test you on anything you don't do in class so as long as you go to lecture and can do the examples from class the test will be a breeze. There are only a couple homework assignments and quizzes that are take home so they are easy. Ask questions, do the suggested homework so the test is even easier. He's funny too.

Greg (that's what he likes to go by) is a little unusual but overall a good professor. He gives plenty of examples in his work and I never felt tested over a topic that hadn't been thoroughly taught. The lecture before the test he would go over important topics. Sometimes his writing can be hard to read - sit in the front middle.

Greg is a good lecturer and he is very clear and well spoken. Hes quite sarcastic and funny in that kind of way. His tests are straightforward and you have to study a lot though. He made all the webassigns due on the last day of classes which was nice. His examples were very clear and answered all questions well! Final replaced lowest test grade.

Sit close to the front, interact with him throughout the lectures, and for goodness sake, ask him questions. Ask him to go over examples if the first example confused you. He is well-spoken and has clear examples, just not many of them. But if you ask for more, he is always happy to provide them.

If you took Calculus in HS, I highly recommend him. But if not, I would suggest looking elsewhere. If I hadn't of taken Calculus already I would have struggled in the class since his examples are not really like the tests. Also, the tests can be a bit tricky, but the online homework is super easy. Gives pop quizzes that aren't that bad.

Prof. Klein is very soft-spoken. He will usually mumble to himself during lectures. The subject itself is not hard, however, his lecture style makes it difficult. I suggest watching some Khan Academy videos on Diff Eq and learn Klein's notations for his exams. Learn the homework and quizzes, as they are usually exam questions.

If you only took pre-cal in HS then this class is very challenging to keep up with. At first the class doesn't seem hard, but the tests are tough and sometimes tricky. When he teaches lessons he fails to show examples of questions in the same format that is asked on the test. The quizzes are easy but don't prepare you for test at all either.

This class is manageable. It VERY is easy to get distracted in this class. Online homework is doable. Many of the questions come with tutorials on how to do the problem. He gives pop quizzes about once a week, and tests aren't too bad at all.

Greg has been one of my favorite professors. I took HS calc, but this class was difficult because it challenged and made me apply concepts to real-world examples. Pop-quizzes were nervewracking because you'd NEVER know when they'd pop up. Tests were challenging but not impossible. Cares a lot about subject matter and a great professor!

Greg was overall a good teacher. HIs lectures could be kinda confusing but if you don't understand he is very helpful in office hours. We had three tests and one cumulative final. His tests were very straight forward and if you understand all the homework you will do fine. I would take him again.

He assigned 10 quizzes throughout the semester, all take home and all pretty standard questions. I was able to go into office hours and he'd work them through with me until I had everything done. He's willing to answer any questions during class and makes the material easy to understand. I would take him for every math class if I could.

Greg doesn't use a book & only gives info in verbal lectures so don't miss class. He is very straight-forward, drama-free. Practice the proofs daily or you'll get too behind for the tests. I never went to office hours but my friends said he was very helpful and always available. He doesn't try to trick you and welcomes questions in class.

Greg is a solid professor who clearly knows alot about calculus. After taking calculus AB in highschool and doing Greg's webassign homework, I didn't study for his tests and still made low A's. He's decently funny, which helps because calculus is so boring. Class isnt madatory except that he has the occasional in class quiz. Dont buy textbook.

He likes you to call him Greg, which is already off to a weird start. He can be condescending from time to time, so prepare to be talked to like you're stupid from time to time. Attendance isn't mandatory, but I would highly suggest going. Overall, really knowledgable guy who is easy to understand in class.
