Spends 95% of the semester going over theory and how formulas are derived instead of working problems. When problems are worked out in class, he doesn't actually work them out, he pulls up the solution and just talks about it.

he's not well organized. spent the first week of the semester failing homeworks because he didn't know how to set it up in webassign. he gives partial credit for answers on tests that are correct. said he would give quizzes every week, quizzes didnt start until we were halfway thru the book. grading isn't consistent!!!

His accent isn't that bad but his lectures are still impossible to follow. Didn't get homework and quizzes back to us before we were tested on them (but this was during the summer), and never went over most of them at all. Tests consist of 5 or 6 not-too-hard questions, but it's easy to screw up your grade if you forget to write down a formula.

His grader marked a test problem wrong, and he refused to give me back my points without doing some extra work. Very difficult to understand. He writes small, also.

This was my fourth time taking physics--this time at UNC Charlotte. The first three times were at a private school near Lake Erie. Professor Raja's physic class was fun and intriguing. Although we were given lots of homework, the problems were almost identical to the test questions. I got an A. It wasn't easy, but it wasn't hard to earn.

Study your book, read every line. Tests are simple, quizzes are from homework. Expect no help with problem solving. Be on time or get embarrassed.

Accent not that bad but sentence structure is poor. Slow monotone lecture. Spent most of the class in a fog. Focuses on concepts tests on problem solving. 5 minute quizes. Presentation now on computer however just images writes the rest. Starts class late lecture runs later.

Guess what folks! Ignore the other reviews. THE HORRID SLIDES AND OVERHEADS ARE GONE! He is now with the times and uses a tablet PC to project his hand written ON THE SPOT notes and diagrams. Accent is indeed tought to get around though. But not bad!

Its kinda hard to understand him, but he really cares about his students and it shows! He realizes that it is hard for us-quizes and test are a little bit easier than he wants them to be (I believe). I ended up with a C. Dont be late!

Nice guy but has all notes prewritten on overhead sheets. Information is everywhere and it is hard to understand since you are trying to keep up with copying his chicken scratch.
