I went to her office many times to discuss my paper topics and to get some insight and she was always very helpful. She knew when to help me and when to let me figure things out for myself.

I really like D'Amico. I was in D'Amico's Author's study course on Jane Austen and it is one of my favorite courses offered. D'Amico is very nice, and went out of her way to help me with scheduling questions and decisions on topics. She rambles sometimes, but she is a great professor to have.

So. You want an easy A? Take the class. But be warned, nothing you do matters. I wrote most essays the day before and got As. She just wants you to regurgitate what she's already said; you don't get to do anything interesting at all. And she wonders why no one talks in class. (Though if you do, she loves you forever.) Most useless class ever.

I'm an eng minor and have taken most of my classes with this woman, she's fantastic!! Such an easy grader and LOVES english. If you raise your hand occasionally she will love you. Easiest class to get good grades on papers that I've experienced.

Extremely engaged with the class. Actually enjoys the material she teaches and makes the class enjoyable. She is extremely corky and a bit peculiar, but it tends to make me laugh. Great woman!

For ENG 200, we had to purchase about 10 books (handbooks, poetry books, novels, plays). This said, the class was really quite enjoyable IF Romantic and Victorian literature interests you. Certainly, they interested Dr. D'Amico who was very knowledgeable and helpful especially during office hours. Grade was mostly 4 papers and a small c.p. grade.

An amazing teacher. Had her for English 200 and FS102. She grades fairly and she is so nice. She makes it easy to talk in class and is willing to help outside of class for projects or questions. D'Amico has a genuine interest in the topics she teaches and it makes the class interesting. Her comments on papers are helpful and reflect the grade.

Professor D'Amico is a considerate, thoughtful, and helpful professor. However, she gives a ton of reading yet never tests on most of it. This makes it difficult to feel excited about reading the texts. I enjoyed her classes primarily because I think she exposed me to a wide range of literary texts.

She's a little bit eccentric and easily excited, but that makes class interesting. Materials are very interesting and she sets you up very well in class to write the essays which make up the majority of your grade. I recommend her.

I thought Professor D'Amico knew her material well and gave good notes. Her class did contain a lot of reading. Also, I don't feel she tested the material enough. In other words, I am not certain everyone in the class read all the assigned readings. Two essays made up nearly 1/2 the class grade.

D'Amico really knows her Victorian lit, and she gets super excited over Christina Rossetti. She a quirky, but knowledgeable and is very helpful during her office hours.

At the begining of the semester I thought she was a very boring professor. Throughout the semester, when I actually tried to participate, I started to enjoy the class. I think she is a friendly and approachable professor and is very helpful during office hours.

D'amico is a great professor to take for a lower-level English class. She really wants everyone to do his/her personal best; if you improve over the course of the semester in your participation or papers, you're golden. She's quite amusing too. Some people might find some of her mannerisms just plain odd, but my friend and I love them.

I absolutely love Diane. If you're having any problems with papers, all you have to do is go to her office and she'll talk to you for like 40 minutes and tell you that you understand because you furrowed your brow. She's wonderful!

A nice professor, however, she is boring as sin. Way too interested in miniscule details. Class material was average, way too much time spent on poetry.

She writes like a doctor. It takes two of my friends to try to figure out her comments on my papers. She's also supper excited about the irish potato famine. but whatever, she is a decent professor.

She's a great professor if you actually participate in class. As long as you've read the material before class, the discussions should be very helpful. And, if you just pay attention in class, you'll be excellently prepared for the exams. She'll help you out in any way she can. Great professor!!!
