Dr. Christensen is the best professor in the math department. He explains everything clearly and concisely. His homework was balanced and fairly easy if you read the material. The exams were take home so they were very easy. Overall a fun class by a great professor.

I love Christensen, but his voice is so monotoned. His lectures can be so boring, but very informational. He explains things very well, if you can stay focused. Overall, sweet man, and I would take his class again because I found it to be an easy A

I have had a lot of bad math teachers, from a pair of long term subs, to overly hard teachers, to overly easy teachers, so the bar was low, but Prof Christensen is truly amazing. He answers everyone's questions thoroughly, no matter how 'dumb', and he's truly caring for his students. He also rounded my grade up which was truly a life saver.

Do the hw and you get full credit and it is worth over 33% of your grade. Late work 100% as long as it's before the exam for the unit. I could've gotten an A but I didn't try after midterm. I am hoping he teaches Linear Algebra so I can have a great professor. Tests have very few questions but you will be well prepared for it. STRONGLY RECOMMEND

The best math teacher I have ever had. Explains concepts very clearly and takes time to answer every question a student has. He gives a significant amount of homework, but the due date is always the day of the exams so you can complete it as you see fit. My only complaint is that he is monotone. I would HIGHLY recommend professor Christensen.

Dr. Christensen is a fantastic professor and is extremely clear with his explanations. He is a tough grader on exams, but his exam format is very similar to the review he posts (they're just old tests). He can be very slow in his explanations and examples, but that makes it really easy to grasp.

Dr. Christensen is a really nice guy and a fantastic math professor, one of the best Ive had. He's very good at explaining Calculus concepts in a digestible manner. Aside from his teaching quality, I really liked that he was flexible on homework due dates. He assigns 2-3 reasonable assignments per week, but will accept them late up to the exam. Hi

This was hands down the best professor I have ever had. The explanations are start simple and build up. Instead of a rigid formal explanation he gives insight as to the thought process that led up to the current concept. Lectures were great and the material could not have been better explained. The homework policy gives time to actually learn.

Professor Christensen is my favorite professor and I took this class specifically so I could have him again. He's very monotone but is a great lecturer. This class in particular is not that hard and is a unique and interesting concept, especially if you're interested in security and ciphers.

Took MAT128 which is my Gen-Ed calculus with him. My only concern is that the tests are very short but they consist of a large portion of your overall grade. However, he's a great guy and good at lecturing. He goes over homework in class and I do recommend him.

I had always heard great things about him, and after having him this semester I can verify that the hype is real. He is not super loud or expressive but he still manages to keep my attention. His explanations are so clear and repeated so many times that it would be impossible to not understand. Really excellent professor.

Amazing professor. Extremely clear about concepts and posts review for tests online that is basically the same format as the actual test. He has a very monotone voice but he's super chill and laid back. Highly recommend.

I've taken him 3 times and I love him! He gives a LOT of homework assignments, but technically none of them are due until the following test. He is extremely helpful no matter what your excuse is (he leaves nobody behind!) His tests aren't hard at all (IF YOU STUDY) because he posts study guides and all his previous semester tests online to study.

Great calc teacher! He is a lenient grader in that he will accept an answer if you chose a different solution, but took all the steps correctly.

Best Math professor at NKU period. He does assign a lot homework but doesn't take it up until test day and even goes over it in class if you get stuck. Explains EVERYTHING he is doing to the point that a 1st grader could learn Calculus from him. Attendance isn't mandatory but is recommended. His tests are easy and fair. Take him for all your math.

Amazing professor he is patient, nice, and understanding. He explains calculus so good and I wish I had him for my Calculus II class. He gives out a lot of homework but its good practice and he goes over it in class. Exams are fair, he gives a study day before exam as well as a study guide which is very similar to exam. My favorite professor ever!

Chris is a fantastic professor! If you have to take a math course try to take one with him. He does give alot of homework but if you could not solve a problem then you can ask him to do it and he will. So then you just copy the problem down and then turn in the homework at the end of class. Best professor math department has to offer!
