Great teacher, very old school. Almost no homework and gives you background stories from his career to help you relate the importance of the material.

Comment:
Extremely boring and monotone voice for his lectures. He gives random facts on course packet (projector slide) material, which have no interest to me. 3 Exams that are extremely scaled and usually 40/50 is an A. Go to discussion, but the TAs may not be that helpful since they realize you haven't been reading the material until the night before.

Comment:
Levin is basically the typical boring professor. Think of Ben Stein in Ferris Bueller's day off. Monotone, boring, dry, and teaching an already boring class. Everything is in the course packet and discussions are helpful. Tests can be pretty tough though. Not an easy one by any means. If you just need a GenEd, look elsewhere.

Comment:
Half of the test questions come straight out of the course packet, and the other half is from the notes during the discussion. The three tests are multiple choice, and there is a big scale at the end because no one studies apparently. If you get at least a 30/50 on each test, and go to every discussion, you'll get a B.

Not a bad class at all, everything needed to do well on the exams came out of the course packet or his mouth, discussions were also pretty helpful in terms of clarifying

Old, boring, and sluggish. Lectures were okay, but grading was tough. Only upside was that he makes subliminaly political statements such as "The best congress money can buy" and "they don't care about the American people as long as busines

Levin is extremely boring, but he seems like a good guy. He cracks jokes occasionally to remind us that he's a human.

Professor is cut and dry, doesn't like to answer questions in class, just likes to hear his own voice. Very boring.
