Worst professor ever. Worst class ever. Did not learn a thing and had at least one 15-page long case study to read every week. Provided basically no instruction on assignments and gave you a bad grade when you didn't "assume" right. I would give him a 0 if I could, but DO NOT take this class with him.

Extremely difficult, but taught me the most after 4 yrs. Discussions turn into a long train of passionate thought & often doesn't respond to students' discussion responses after he demands them. Expect destructive negative comments on submissions. If you're dedicated to learning marketing, take his class. You will learn a lot if you can handle it.

Overall, good guy who cares - he's just a tough shelled guy. Didn't gain much textbook knowledge, but I learned soft skills & global thinking. There is only one exam, which is tough because we didn't explicitly go over any of the content, and he's a very tough grader. He's very interesting and intelligent, but maybe needs to restructure the course

A terrible professor that goes overtime every class. Doesn't prepare at all for one exam given in the class and lets us know 2 days before it. Most of the grade is for a semester-long group project that he gives all groups terrible grades on. An overall horrible professor that I recommend not to take, and I will never take again in the future.

Very harsh grader. Doesn't teach anything or prepare students for tests at all. Gives terrible grades and wants you to keep fixing things until they are perfect.

The only reason I'm writing this is because he's getting a lot of slander for being "rude" but in reality, it's his sense of humor and many of you clearly don't take it lightly as you should. This being said, he's not the easiest on grading but just work w him and you'll be fine. He'll work w you and has been VERY accommodating to me personally.

Honestly the worst professor I have ever had. The whole class was a group project, which was fine, but he was never available outside of class. I asked him for help once and he snapped at me via email because I wanted to meet with him after he had a "long day." Not supportive and very rude. If you have questions, good luck, you're on your own.

He gives off this vibe in class like he's trying hard to be "woke". His homework takes at least two hours to complete has nothing to do with the material learned and he only opens it the day its due. He gets frustrated when you ask questions and when I emailed him about an assignment he told me to "try a little thing called the internet".

One of the worst professors I've ever had. No structure to the lectures but attendance is mandatory. All he does is talk about himself, Brazil, and Cars. Often demeaning. He doesnt actually teach but is a super harsh grader. To get an A you need a 95 which is basically impossible. If you don't go to office hours you probably wont pass.

Brashear is an interesting fellow. While it seemed that I wasn't learning anything in the class, looking back, I learned more from him than most. There are very few notes, and no exams, but a lot of homework that is all group work. His grading is unclear, he is disorganized, and very sassy. He just wants to be listened to. Very knowledgeable guy.

This guy is honestly one of the worst teachers I have ever had. Asks questions to students but doesn't really care what they have to say, very demeaning in his response. Very disorganized and grading is subjective. Good guy it seems, but just a genuinely bad teacher.

Thomas Brashear is the absolute worst professor I've had in 4 years of school. Extremely unhelpful, rude to students, often insulting, has no idea how to answer simple questions clearly, and offers absolutely no guidance. He doesn't seem to have any interest in what his students have to say... ironic considering participation is 40% of the grade.

As long as you know how to write a case study, you will do well in the class. Other than that, there is not much structure to the class. No organization or clarity. All the professor talks about are his trips to Brazil. You don't really learn much from the class overall. He's not a very good teacher.

Online class during 6 week summer session. Covered 19 chapters. Quizzes through textbook company. Weekly Essay's and must post DQ's along with answering but not on same day. Not alot of feedback. My calculations were higher than grade received. Not sure if all my papers were actually read and received 90's or 100's.

All he does is talk about Brazil. Participation is 40% of grade. Pretty much anytime you raise your hand, he makes fun of what you say and shuts it down. Very unclear about what he expects. Don't take this class unless you have to.

He seemed like teaching was secondary to his career in business. His class was designed with as little structure as possible to give him flexibility. 40% of the grade was participation in a class of over 50 people! No tests, so don't bother buying the book. He was vague with requirements, and equally vague w/ questions to clarify. Terrible class.

class isn't hard but it is a TON of work. 1st test MC (easy), other 2 tests take home but all essay and LONG. Project will require you to write almost 100 pages + presentation! This class will OWN YOUR LIFE for the semester if you take it. Brashear is a nice guy and helpful if you ask him, class is interesting, very rarely takes attendance.
