Took a 5 week zoom class. Attendance is not mandatory which is nice. Lots of quizzes and discussions and many extra credit opportunities. This class is an easy A. The professor is nice and she cares about her students. I recommend her.

She is an excellent professor! I ended the class with a grade of 113 because of all the extra credit she offers. It is lots of reading. She is not the greatest about responding to emails, but she eventually gets around to it. Do your assignments, read the chapters, take all quizzes, and do all extra credit and you'll make an A just as I did.

Ms. Hausen will be the easiest professor you can take at NVC. Everything can be easily found online, textbook is online, free, & unnecessary. There is a lot of extra credit but you wont need it. If you want an in depth understanding of psychology, do not take her. However, if you dont, this is the class for you.

She is so sweet and a great teacher! Her lectures are kinda boring but its such a easy A! She gives extra credit and her assignments are a breeze. Easy grader and no test!! Would love to take her again!

lots of in class work that you can only do if you attend class. super easy course, as she says, "you are in charge of your grade" its nearly impossible to fail her course. if you are majoring in psyc, maybe take a different professor. but if you are doing it just for the credit, I definitely recommend her.

She's a very sweet lady & cares about all her students. Her lectures are boring sometimes, but are easy to understand. She talks about her life a lot, but will also include the class to participate if they want to. Online quizzes are easy & the textbook is online. 1 group project due at the end of the semester. Take this class if you want an easy A

She was really nice, but sometimes made really uncomfortable jokes and often went off topic. The lectures were boring and drawn out. She talked about her personal life a lot and I found going to class kind of pointless. The class was really easy to keep up with and stress-free.

This class is an easy A. She does not ask for much. 1 major project done as a class, typically some type of volunteering. If you are majoring/interested in Psychology DO NOT take this professor. I learned more about her personal life than I did about Psychology itself. She is always off topic and teaches with a lot of personal opinions.

She reminds of Ms. Frizzle- happy, informative, and fun. Took her for PHYC and Student of success. Both times I enjoyed her class she keeps things interesting the only thing she is all over the place but she is a great professor.

Easy teacher, good class discussions (plenty where the class was all laughing). Quizzes may be a bit challenging, just do your reading/re-read notes and it will be easy. Would love to take her again and recommend her to anyone.

Ms Hausens class was very interactive when it came to doing activities. Her lectures are very interesting as she connects it to some of her life experiences. Her class never gets boring and all the notes are on her canvas page . Quizzes are online and are very easy . If you have a 90+ , you dont have to take her final .

Excellent teacher! As long as you show up to class, you will pass. Online quizzes are kinda hard but you can use your notes and the textbook. Follow the rubrics on essays and you'll get an A.

Took Mrs. Hausen for summer class and it was laid back she is very sweet. 8 quizzes online and a final exam all open book and gives you enough time to work on it at your convenience. One group project but it is super fun and easy. I overall enjoyed her class would take her again if i could.

She's super funny. Textbook is free, and you really don't have to read much if you pay attention in class. Lets you do quizzes in a group. Two essays. Eight easy quizzes. Lots of extra credit. One group project at the end. Super laid back. Talks about her life but makes it relevant to topic. Class discussions.
