Dry monotone voice, and reads off the slides so no real point in going to class since attendance isn't mandatory. Tests are easy though so just put in some study time and you'll be all set.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! by far the easiest 301 class in som. materials very interesting, but never went to class because its all common sense and still ended up with an A-. you dont really need the text book cuz the slides are pretty much a summary of the book and set clear. the study guide is IDENTICAL to the exam

Going to class is a waste of time, he posts all of the slides on Spark. Study the notecards that come with the online text (he puts definitions straight from them onto the exam), and the slides and you should do well on the exams.

Easiest. Class. Ever. Attendance is not necessary-- just use the study guide he puts on SPARK before the test and make sure you know it all-- its all on the slides (which are online) or in the book. You won't pay attention if you go to class anyway, it's pretty dry material.

It is interesting to me he is a marketing professor based on his beliefs about the world. However, as a professor, he is very flexible and understanding that the class was at an inconvenient time. The guest lecturers were interesting. Great textbook!

This class is how all classes should be. He doesn't take attendence at all, so you don't even have to go. He drops the lowest 2 test scores and all material is posted online. You don't even need to buy the book, but if you do it is really cheap. like $30 or something. i never went to one class, and am getting an A. Also does Extra Credit.

Nice class. He has everything online so you don't even have to go. He has this new magazine type of cheap textbook that you don't even have to buy since tests are based on the powerpoints. 4 exams with 2 lowest dropped. final is cumulative. Take this class with him.

Defintely one of the worst professors that I've ever had. He has zero real business experience and basically makes stuff up as he goes along.

Have taken 3 classes with him: MKTG 301, MKTG 421, MKTG 425. Excellent professor, very open to comments/suggestions, and great overall person. Assignments/material can sometimes be rather vague. If you want a different view of business (such as alternative business models/orientations), I highly recommend him.

Good Professor. Has a genuine interest in helping students. Gives you multiple chances to do well on exams and drops the lowest scores. You can skip most lectures and still get an A.

He is a great prof. Prob. one of the best at UMASS if not the best. Got to his office hours if you do not understand the material. He will be very helpful. He was a great mentor to me for all four years of college and I still keep in touch with him. And a huge plus if you are a baseball fan. My opnion, take any class he offers you will learn alot.
