Comment:
Professor Siehl's class was a good experience. He is very deliberate in his manner of speaking, patient to a fault when listening, but somewhat boring with bouts of humor. The material is fairly easy to understand, quit-a-bit of reading and focus questions that basically provide answers to the tests. Fairly smooth sailing and very informative.

As long as you pay attention and do the study guides you will do absolutely fine. He is extremely boring and uses some outdated sources, however, he does teach the material and gets his point across.

He is a nice gentleman if only all his students were nice also. Organized and focused. If you want to learn, you will be taught. Some students want to be entertained, I prefer being taught. He knows how to enjoy a laugh with the class from time to time, then finish teaching.

Pretty good instructor. He writes notes for presentations and the tests are based off of that. As long as you pay attention you'll be set.

Stick with it, he is funny. It definitely takes him a while to come out of his shell. I love the way he teaches, he uses exercises to get the whole class involved. He knows his stuff and is great at what he does.

He is a nice man, but not worthwhile as a teacher. He doesn't require much learning and uses the same teaching techniques for everything. The content of the class could be so much more interesting and enjoyable if he employed more teaching techniques besides only vignettes.

Chris is great. Always willing to discuss topics and clarify if needed. Can be a little scattered in thought though so pay attention and ask questions.

Mr. Siehl is a cool guy, but his examples are little dated. Most of the classes are spent taking notes from the overhead, but tests are easy if you pay attention in class. There is a group project that's hard to get organized, but he gives some class time to work on it, besides that there is no hmwrk.

LOVE CHRIS! He teaches using little stories that relate directly to what he is trying to teach. TONS of immature people in the class, he handled them all alot better than I would have. He is a great teacher, he knows his stuff and if you listen to his stories then you will do fine in the class. I had him twice and plan taking him until more!!!!

This was my second time taking him for a class. He is a good instructor, but this particular class would have worked better for me if he would have had a more organized way of presenting the material. otherwise he's fair and a good instructor. I will be taking him 2 more times

Siehl is a great guy. Learned a lot in his class. Unfortunately, he does not seem like a great public speaker (monotone voice, and a lot of pauses), but he knows his stuff and makes you think if you are involved in class. There were a lot of immature idiots in my class that didn't like him, but those who were there to learn, learned from him.

Chris is a great teacher. He is a little "different", but he is a social worker after all. He has a way of making this boring subject interesting. Class is always involved and it's a good idea to always attend. Very lenient grading system, he definately tailors this class to the students.

To those who are doggin' Chris - maybe you shouldn't go into the human services field. Chris is a great guy. He's nice, he's smart, and he's open to questions. His class is so easy as long as you attend his lectures. Just because his voice is a bit monotone doesn't mean that he's not an effective instructor. He's great. I highly recommend him.

I have had Chris for several classes. He is extremely fair and easy to follow. I find him an affable fellow with an easy charm and a dry wit. Again, you have to be able to GET the jokes. His classes are interesting and he is always trying something new to illustrate points. Takes his classes, you will be well educated.

He's boring to listen to at first before you get used to him. Despite that, I learned SO MUCH in his class and he is able to teach you very valuable things for later on in this career.
