Never struggled with English before and have usually always passed with an A or an A-. I'm not quite sure if it was because our class was held online, but I feel like she could have done better to get to know her students and where our weaknesses and strengths were. Instead, she assigned way too many assignments and didn't teach very well at all.

I'm currently taking this class right now, and as someone who has never gotten low grades in ENGLISH COMPOSITION through out my entire schooling career... it's safe to say its HER, not ME .. or YOU. She offers little to no help and only confuses the class more with her back and forth banter and unorganized "teaching method". SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!

Horrible teacher. Ranted a lot. I tried to report her. She did not agree with my topic of my paper, so she gave me a horrible grade even though all the other students read my paper and said it was great. I debated with her in class for 30 min about my topic. She ended up raising the grade a little because I had the nerve to challenge her opinion

Longberg easily gets off topic. Class period consists of talking about what's due for next class period. When lecture topic is scheduled, she starts to go over material, then wonders, causing to be behind schedule, using next class period to make up for it. Domino effect.

Honestly anyone that puts that shes a good teacher and understanding was probably a suck up. The only reason she would give someone an A in this class is if you wrote about things she agrees with.

I took this class to get an easy A, as english has always been an easy A for me. My Gpa before this class was a 3.696, and because I complained to her she started failing my on papers after giving me 5 As on the first papers... now I have a 3.2. Totally unprofessional and if she doesnt like your topic GOODLUCK because she will fail you.

I loved this class. Lectures got a little king and sometimes seemed like overkill but Ive grown as a writer and really enjoyed the papers that we had to write and we have more than enough time to write them! Shes a tough grader but if you try and ask questions youll be golden. She gives good feed back and is willing to help out. Loves her job

If you put in the work and she sees you're willing to work and participate she's more willing to help. If you're constantly skipping class she's obviously not going to bother helping you if you're not willing to take the time to come to class. Talk to her if you're having problems she's willing to help you out. Very understanding teacher.

Don't take this class. She grades very slowly and you don't learn anything in the class. We mainly just talk about opinions so we never get feedback on how to improve our writing. She is also very picky. If she doesn't like our topic or writing style of your paper she will give you a bad grade. Try to get a different professor if you can.

She doesn't grade assignments very fast. It takes weeks to get them back. She also doesn't use blackboard and fails to respond to emails. When reading over papers, she doesn't critique very well, or give useful information. A very "blah", "meh", prof.

I really liked her personally. If you go to her after class and talk about a problem you may have encountered she'll go over it with you but you have to show her that you're really taking the course seriously. Show her that you're putting work in and she'll help as well. She is a tough grader but she takes time on all her students work.

Didn't even give us a grade til after midterms, even though we had turned in 3 out of 5 papers. We had no idea where we stood. Very strict. Would not recommend.

Awful. She gives feedback but is not very specific. I need to hear more than "this needs work". The best way to describe her is a perfectionist. Unless you are already good at writing she is not a great teacher. Her lectures are unnecessarily long. Class is pointless and boring.

Did not like her at all. She gave me a zero on something she did not clarify in class. She assumed I was a ESL student. She calls out her student, and she requires a textbook, which students do not really need because students can find the article online. I would not take her again!

She is very nice but seems quiet and nervous sometimes. Be sure to read because you will have reading quizzes! I did become stressed out with most assignments but she did offer help. If you want clarity, ask her and she'll help you! Wasn't until one of the last conferences I got to know her better but she's actually really nice. SUPER HARD GRADER!
