Horrible horrible horrible! I am so upset with the professor! Dont even know what hes getting paid to do! I asked one single question the whole semester on our discussion board for the class and he scolded me for asking it! No lectures and no guidance. Truly a class you will be completely on your own for. He doesnt provide answers or help. F-

This guy has no idea what he is doing. Uses a book that has standard HTML syntax, has you use dated polyglot syntax (not in book), and provides the "Correct Code" in non-polyglot for you to check against. Don't use it tho or you get dinged for it. Getting an A in this class is about playing his game. Find a different Prof if you want to learn.

Worst online class I've ever taken period. Prof provides minimal lecture slides without video lectures. The assignments straight out of the textbook and are also cumulative. Points taken off seem arbitrary, and his feedback on is often vague. He's the only prof I've seen assign homework over spring break. Find a prof who cares about online classes.

This Guy Brings His Personal Ethics and Moral into his Lectures and some cool history. A good portion of it is supplemental and expects you to read and understand the mountain of material on your own. Tough grader and And takes it personally if you're late(locks door 5-10m after) Comes off as hardass, but surprisingly approachable if you reach out.

Awful grader. Takes points off for the most minor errors even if the code/results are not affected. He actively looks for things to find wrong. His feedback is vague and unhelpful. His focus is on inane, outdated coding protocols instead of learning how to code efficiently and effectively. Would never take him again. Terrible teacher.

Incredible the lack of disconnect between teachers and how the real world work these days. He has us use some polyglot markup style which was done away with in practice probably the last time he worked in the field 20 years ago. As a last ditch effort I even had one of my friends who is a profession web developer do work for me and still failed.

Losacco is great! He lets you use the book and internet on quizzes. You need to pay attention to his lectures because his powerpoints are very vague. He goes into more details while lecturing. As long as you follow along and complete the homework, it is easy! Would definitely take him again!

DO NOT TAKE HIM!!!!! If you do, you will regret it. He tells you to pass your code through the validator and you will get an A or B on the assignment, but when he returns it, you will see so many points taken off for small mistakes which doesn't effect the code . Hes absolutely a horrible teacher & doesn't give you 2nd chances of assignments.

The classwork is by no means difficult but he is a nitpicky grader. Losacco is a pretty cool guy and had the whole class laughing several times. Assignments are straight out of the textbook so make sure you get the correct edition or they won't sync.

I took this class during the summer and Losacco was by far the worst teacher I've had so far. He assigns WAY too much work to do outside of class through blackboard and doesn't even let you know what's assigned. There is a ridiculous amount of reading required for this course and Losacco uses only ebooks which ALSO contain exercises that are graded

Losacco an incredible teacher his lectures are inspirational and practical. He explicitly tells you what he expects on assignments; however, he's a tough grader. The tests are all opened book which is always a plus. I would definitely recommend taking his class. He teaches more than just computers he teaches you how to live.

He is a good teacher, who clearly presents the material and the projects are all clearly explained. However, he is a very strict grader. And while he always explains why he takes points off, it is not always for the same things, and can be difficult to predict whether your assignment is correct until after the fact

Losacco is an amazing professor. His lectures are solid so skipping them is your loss. Losacco tells you explicitly tells you what he expects on assignments; however, he is a tough grader. Tests are open book so take advantage of it. Another piece of advice don't be late to class he can't stand it.

Good class ,very doable&Professor Losacco really cares about the students. Has a good sense of humor; but values participation in class. Many quizzes/homework but they aren't hard. He does a good job making his lectures interesting in a type of class that could otherwise be very boring. Also, The Dash was really good, definitely don't miss it!

I took a lot of online classes and by far he was the worst professor I ever had. He never used to give clear instructions on how to do the assignments. He was a tough grader and always used to take points off for the smallest of mistakes and would never explain where he deducted the points. The tests are easy but wont help if you do poorly on HW.
