Comment:
Yuhas is actually a very knowledgable professor, but his class is hard. Your grade consists of 81% based on tests (27% for 3 exams that are always curved), 9% for 2 quizzes (lowest quiz dropped), and a research paper worth 10% (easy). The exam reviews are much like the exams themselves, but they're hard. Just make sure you understand the material.

Awful professor. Speaks too fast, makes mistakes on what he says. I literally have to watch his lectures backwards to take my notes, because he changes things and mis speaks so often. He allows his phone to ring while recording, and doesn't do anything about it. At least once a week it rings. He doesn't answer the problems he goes over.

His notes lay out the format of the exams and he gives exam reviews that are similar to the test. Grades are made up of 3 exams worth 27% each (curved), 10% from 2 quizzes (drops the lowest grade), and 10% from an easy short ethics paper. He does misspeak frequently but as long as you follow his notes and study guides you will do well on exams.

out of the 160 credits I've taken, this professor is my favorite of them all. Not easy, per se, but if you pay attention, you will pass. Speaks fast. He is very kind. He called me personally once a week during COVID to make sure I was doing ok in the class. He inspired me to pursue further education in Taxation, MST. Love him! Recommend him always.

I didn't buy the textbook for this class even though it was recommended, and I did fine. Book would probably be helpful if it's your first tax class. His lectures are good and he posts audio recordings of them on BB.

One of the worst professors Ive taken in my career at GV. Speaks too fast, misspeaks, doesnt explain why hes doing what hes doing, doesnt know how to lecture, repeats himself (not about the course information, though, just filler words. Do you agree? Do you understand?). Hes an expert in the field but does not belong in a classroom.

Mike is the best teacher for ACC 317. Yes, he lectures fast, but that means you have to listen and pay attention. Record his lectures and ask questions. He is more then understanding if you try. He knows the material by heart, he is more then willing to repeat himself and spend time so you understand.

The kind of prof you want to take for this class. If youre having trouble, talk to him. He is a great prof that cares. High energy and a lot of info. Take the time to understand his lectures and follow up His lecture topics in the book. You will be tested on them. Great prof and a great person!

Mike is awesome! 3 tests and a paper, he makes an effort outside of class if u need help. He makes his own tests which means he tests the way he lectures. Hes funny and his lectures make taxes about as fun as they can be. He also records his lectures for test review or missed class purposes.

Seems kind of out there but still a good prof. 3 tests worth 90% and a short ethics paper worth 10%. Curves a lot for exams and lectures are recorded and posted online. His catchphrase is do you agree?

Speaks very fast, very unorganized. Will have you with three books open flipping pages simultaneously. Misspeaks a lot so you get confused easily. Get the code and the course pack, do not get the text book even though he says you need it.

Yuhas talks extremely fast but provides his own handouts so lecture is somewhat easy to follow. Only three exams and one project but you must study and prepare for the exams since its a tax class. Definitely would take again just be willing to put in the work and keep up with his fast pace speed

Professor Yuhas is great. Thought his tax course would be tough, but he made it very easy to learn. If you follow the course pack and attend the lectures his course is easy. He has a great personality and really cares about his students. I would highly recommend him as a professor.

I can't tell wether he's funny or it's just pretty much anything other than tax is funny. Holy crap is he a fast lecturer... His notes are extremely well mapped out. But, I do find myself lost about 3 times each lecture just due to the speed of his lectures and the amount of notes he gives and expects us to take. Overall he's a fantastic prof!

Engaging professor actually made tax interesting. Very quick speaker and grader, but he prepares you well for exams if you stick to the handouts. I strongly recommend adding the chapters before the lectures they will make so much more sense. Good guy!

Goes very fast. Obviously knows what he is talking about and does a good job teaching the basic concepts but sometimes gets confusing. Only grades are three tests. Can't study with friends with other professors because Yuhas teaches the class so differently than any other professor. Don't suggest sitting in front row. Overall a good, fair teacher.

PAY ATTENTION TO HIS CLASS this is a VERY tough class, he really tries his best but the material is just so tricky. 3 exams thats it. he lets you write in the margins of one of your book and use it on the exams. Don't bother buying the actual book with the online software, you'll never use it. Great guy, just be ready for a tough class. no homework

Yuhas is a nice guy but he lectures way too fast for anyone to keep up. Read the book and do some practice questions to help practice the material. Doesn't write on board much and when he does you cant read any of it. All of his papers are poorly written needs to seriously have all of it re-written and proofed. I passed but would never take again.

Comment:
If you love college football then this instructor is for you. He will discuss sports at least twenty minutes of every lecture because accounting is boring. When he does "lecture" he talks way too fast for anyone to get what he is saying. Instructor uses Ad Hominem and Straw Man Fallacy arguments against students because he is also an attorney.
