I took Intro to Creative Writing from Dr. Bardi and it was amazing! There was only a little bit of reading each week. Mostly there were creative writing exercises designed to get you thinking and writing. She gave extremely timely, directed, and generous feedback and really helped me refine my writing skills. 100% would take a class from her again!

I really enjoyed this class and the direction that the questions asked you to explore within Shakespeare's plays. The final project was kept broad and didn't allow me to narrow down to a specific topic I wanted to focus on. I probably would have gotten an A, but I was distracted during this class. Professor gives good feedback and responds fast.

I don't know what y'all are talking about with these good reviews. I had straight A's until I took a class with Professor Bardi. Absolutely terrible professor... Little to no feedback on bad grades. I will definitely be avoiding this professor for future courses at all costs.

For an eight week class, there was a lot to read and too much work to do and have finished in such a short amount of time. Professor Bardi is very picky about how you do the discussions and you ALWAYS have to use quotes from the reading material, or you won't get a good grade on the discussions.

Dr. Bardi was an amazing professor at UMGC, despite the heavy amount of reading in the class. We read two full length novels for discussions, so don't take this class if you don't like to read. She gives thoughtful and respectful feedback, and you can tell she really knows her stuff. I learned a lot in her class. 10/10.

Professor Bardi is heaven-sent. She is by far one of if not the best professor I have encountered as far as online courses. She took an otherwise daunting subject and made it fun and engaging. Her feedback was purposeful, constructive, and timely. She was completely open to differing opinions and did not use the course to push any personal agenda.

Capstone class and she breaks things down very easily for you. Very clear and defined grading. The only thing I wish the class offered was a sample portfolio to see because I did feel a bit blind going in, but she answered every question we had about the portfolio and offered support as well.

Professor Bardi was extremely helpful and the best English Professor that I've had at UMUC. She was easy to access, she answered all of my questions (no matter how crazy they might have sounded), and more importantly, she provided great feedback and assistance with my papers rather than criticism. I highly recommend this Professor.

Dr Bardi presents a fairly easy to comprehend version of Shakespeare to folks who don't like Shakespeare, like me. Dreaded this course, actually wasn't too bad. The final proj is a beast and it requires you to use powerpoint or create a vid--didn't expect this going in, but she doesn't grade on creativity. Use the rubric, get an A, plain/simple

It was online, and she was not set up well. Often she would tell us something needed to be done the day it was due. When asking for help she isn't clear so you have to drag information out of her. There were never any clear instructions for assignments. Be prepared to spend at LEAST four days out of the week reading and doing her assignments.

Professor B. is awesome at what she does. nice. caring. gives excellent feedback and wants her students to succeed. This class is not an easy A, but if you participate in class, do the work as instructed, and ask for help if needed, you will pass. I would want to have this professor again.

Dr. B. knows the topic well and has clearly taught it before. She participates in discussions and is quick to respond to questions. Her feedback is specific and helpful and she successfully encourages interaction between students (not always easy online). She's not an "easy A," you'll have to do the work, but I think she is fair in her expectations

Second textbook used: 0393927210. This class was very interesting. There is a lot of researching and summarizing academic journals. I feel that Dr. Bardi is a fair grader, and she's more than willing to answer any questions, and quickly. I would recommend this professor, but be aware you will need to work for your grade, it's not an easy A.

Great teacher. She participates in online conferences daily and is understanding and easy to get a hold of. That in mind, you will go blind doing research for this class, all of the course materials weren't on the syllabus and the editions weren't made clear. Again, great teacher but there were flaws in a few technical areas.
