If you need any elective credit I 100% recommend FILM145 with Prof. Aronovich, especially asynchronously. This is maybe the easiest async class I have ever taken in my life, all you do is take 10 quizzes throughout the quarter and you can get 100% on all of them without any reading or lectures. This class was literally a blessing

Victor is a really nice and caring professor. Very laid back. It does take him some time to teach you how to use Premiere Pro, but if you follow his instructions you wont have any problems. Very passionate about this topic and he will even continue communication after you take his course.

Victor Aronovich one of the best professors you are going to have, honestly worth taking the class and you do learn if you ever wanted to learn Video Editing at least an introduction class. A really simple class and easy to catch up if you fall behind. Truly cares about his students and great feedback on assignments.

Professor Aronovich is great at editing. He teaches awesome techniques and is always open to being asked questions. He hates when people are tardy and talking/not paying attention so please avoid all of them. There are 4 major projects and 4 short papers. No textbook used and attendance is mandatory. If you're new to editing he's a solid choice!

Definitely the nicest and easiest professor I have taken. His course is laid back, the quizzes are good and the papers have relevance. I enjoyed taking this class with this professor, such a good and enthusiastic person. If there's an elective class open with him, take him, you won't regret it!

One of the nicest teachers I have ever had. If you have the chance to take him TAKE HIM! He is like grandpa to every one in the class he is willing to help you out with what ever problems you have and you learn how to edit videos which is a useful life skill to have, esp for a job. He is very likeable and shows some really good movies.

I took this online class and it was awesome! There are weekly quizzes that are super easy if you use the book. Online Lectures aren't too long and get the point across! Loved this class, great professor.

Hes an adorable lil Russian guy with a seriously impressive background in film. This class is very easy. Weekly quizzes that I would recommend spending at least 30 out of the 40 min required, to me it seemed like some of the questions were never even brought up in class. Easy, easy, easy is all else I can say

Victor is awesome! Kind and gentle little old man with a slight Russian accent. This was one of the easiest classes. Victor is great at telling stories; he is funny; he engages the class. He has a solid background in film, TV, and production, so he is quite knowledgeable. Weekly quizzes on D2L but they are easy if you use the book.

Professor Aronovich is an awesome professor and is very laid back. He is always there for students and is truly the definition of a jolly old man. His quizzes are quite simple and easy, as most the questions he has on them are direct quotes from the book. Just sift through the book while taking the quizzes, and it should be an easy A.

Extremely easy class. You have 4 one page papers with a presentation, midterm, and final. As long as you follow guidelines for the papers, you will get an A. Participate! I love taking classes with Victor! He reminds me of a sweet grandfather :) He really knows his stuff as he has had extensive experience in both the film and TV fields. He always wants to ensure that we understand everything, as he does have a thick Russian accent but you get used to it. Take him!!!

One of the best professors I've had in my college experience thus far. Extremely knowledgeable with movies and has lived through a cinematographic life which he seldom mentions. (He has won 4 Emmies!) Get to know him and if you love film analysis like I do then talk to him. Aronovich is the man!
