The prof himself is a really nice guy, but his class is extremely hard. Especially if you are not into archaeology. I never thought I would fail a class, but the material is nearly impossible to learn/memorize and the tests are ridiculously hard. Unless youre going to be an archaeologist I would strongly suggest not taking his class.

The subject is pretty boring if you're not an anthro major, but Dr. Daniel tries to make it interesting! He definitely knows what he's talking about. The tests cover a lot of info, so be prepared to memorize a lot. In all, not bad. Don't show up late because he locks you out!

A good teacher overall. Powerpoints are posted online. 3 tests, 2 essays, 3 quizzes. Not hard to make an A if you put forth some effort. Very nice guy!

cont The class is boring not the proffesor. Infact he tries everything he can to make it interesting. It is a great class for a social science but you must study. reading the text book is technicly optional but is definatly something you should do. Also be involved in class. Once again I would definatly take him again if I got the chance. TAKE HIM!

This teacher loves Archeaology and what he teaches, yet understands that not everyone in the class will also love it. He really wants every student to do well and is willing to help you but you MUST go to him. He understands our minds based on the similarities of his 3 Highshool students. If I ever get the chance I would totaly take him again.cont

His exams are nothing like what he outlines in class; he is boring and doesn't know how to teach- avoid this class unless you're prepared to read constantly and memorize the entirety that the exam chapters are on. You watch 2 movies and stare at power points all class

Easy Gade. If you don't have cable; be sure to take this class. More videos than any class since 5th Grade PE. Reads his powerpoint to you as the lecture.

Great professor, he knows his stuff and shows alot of enthusiasm for archaeology. If you want a class to slack off in, look elsewhere; he is rather strict on attendance and you will not pass his essay tests if you don't study. His lectures can get dry at times, but he has a quirky sense of humor. Always eager to help and answer students' questions.

Daniels is a great teacher. If you aren't interested in Archaeology, you shouldn't take this class. You will cover a wide range of cultures. Sometimes he isn't very clear on things, but when it comes down to the test, if you have attended class, taken notes, and read the book, you'll do great. This is college after all. No one said it was easy.

Honors section, you have an extra textbook used ONLY for three essays. It's an interesting book, though. What sucks is the tests are MC, but honors students also have to write essays. Take LOTS of notes and READ THE TEXTBOOK and you'll be all right. Quizzes are timed but online, you can use your notes. Very helpful professor, nice too.

GREAT Professor! Dr. Daniel really knows his stuff and loves what he teaches. GO to class and read your textbook and you should do fine on the exams. Quizzes are online, but make sure you study because you only have 15 min. to take them. One of the best professors at ECU. He's hard but pay attention in class and do the READING. TAKE HIM!!

He knows his stuff and is interested and enthusiastic about it. take notes during class and skim over the material in the book. quizzes online are open note so if you go to class you have everything you need. tests are middle of the road, study and you'll be fine.

Easiest B I ever got, and I didn't do anything beyond the required readings and show up to class. Do go to class because he loves to drop notes and test from the notes. If you don't pass with at least a B, then you don't belong in college.

He is the worst teacher in the history of the entire world. The tests cover so much material that if your not a genius it is impossible to memorize. And staying awake in his class is the hardest part about it. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS With HIM!!!
