This professor is a great guy. We had one zoom class a week for 3 hours. All you do is read plays and talk about them in class. There is also assignments regarding the plays during the week but nothing too hard. There is a group project at the end but not bad either. He genuinely cares for his students and our success. I will miss him! Fun class!

He was a really good choice to teach about the Holocaust, very sensitive and knowledgable about it. The last month of class was watching Shoah, a 9 hour film that was very raw and emotional. Assignments can be tough, but he was understanding about other academic pressures we had.

The only thing I did not like about this class was that it was a 6-9 so the lectures dragged. He tried his best to make it exciting but 6-9 classes are hard to so that with. Definitely is passionate about the course material, makes you think about things in different ways to broaden your knowledge. Great class.

Professor Franciosi is a very nice person and a pretty cool teacher. However, he is very lecture heavy and my class was 3 hours long, making it too lecture heavy for me. He's a fair grader though and doesn't assign an absurd amount of work. Just be prepared to read a lot.

I absolutely loved Professor Franciosi everything considered. He was very approachable and polite with his students. The classroom setting is very laid back and so long as you participate, you should get an easy A.

Professor Franciosi is very knowledgeable about his work, which makes the course very enjoyable for students. The course is centered around various readings related to the Holocaust, so be sure to read the assigned material. The course (and your grade) relies heavily on your participation, so don't come to class unprepared. I highly recommend!

Franciosi is a genuinely nice guy and a fair grader. He knows a lot about the Holocaust. There's a lot of reading in his class and for every couple books there is a paper as well as a big research paper at the end of the year. He cares what students think and expects you to speak up. He even took my class on a field trip to Chicago for free.

This guy is great. His class is easy, just a lot of reading, and almost weekly quizzes on the reading. Attendance is definitely mandatory. He gives extra credit opportunities. One paper throughout the whole semester, final exam was a group reading on whatever book you wanted. Not a tough grader.

Rob is very lecture heavy. The lectures can be very boring, but he was great guy overall. He is very willing to meet with you outside of class to help with whatever you need. There are NO EXAMS but there are 4 papers which your grade is based off of. Be prepared to write well and often because that is where your grade comes from. He's cool though!

I personally enjoyed him this semester. Super friendly and knowledgeable professor. The classes were heavy in lectures but were not boring, he can be funny at times. There is a quite a bit of reading in short periods of time but they were all easy reads. Papers were not difficult and he made us go see a play and write a review on it. Solid class.

My grandpa passed in the middle of the semester and professor Franciosi was incredibly understanding, he even let me miss some class to be with family. The class wasn't difficult at all though, and is pretty interesting if you like learning about the Holocaust.

This professor assigned around 14 books, which sounds like a lot but it was a graduate level class after all. As an undergrad, I learned a lot, and he took my status into consideration when grading. There were only a couple short papers, with a final term paper being the longest haul. This class was very informational about the Holocaust.

Take him if you can! He is an excellent Prof, and very knowledgeable. His lectures are interesting and he doesn't grade very hard. Go to lectures, understand the material, do some critical thinking and you'll def. get an A. I really enjoyed this class and him as a prof!

Rob was one of the nicest professors I have had at GV. He really enjoys teaching the subject. Grade is made up of quizzes, two papers and 3 play performance reviews. The reviews and quizzes are easy, but he grades the two papers tough. I also didn't most of the plays we went to in class, may had graphic language and sexual content-not my cup of tea

One of the absolute best professors at GV. His knowledge and interest are extremely evident. He takes into consideration the fact that you aren't an english major and grading isn't too hard. I absolutely loved him. The class required lots of books and the discussions could be a bit boring on occasion but i would 100% recommend taking his class!

He was alright. Obnoxious amounts of reading and the paper assignments are quite challenging. I learned a lot, though, so it was worth it. He is always willing to help, but grades hard. I also felt that if I didn't address a topic the way he would have, I got marked down. Extremely intelligent person.

Nice guy, but a difficult grader at times. Once you figure out what he wants it gets easier. Has a great since of dry humor and makes lots of sarcastic and cynical jokes that I always enjoyed. Good guy and good class.

Class is just discussions, not hard. Read plays, easy to read. Have to attend a few performances, kinda sucks. Class is easy but he's kind of a hard grader, doesn't make it clear what he's expecting.

Cool guy, loves plays. He knows what he's talking about and doesn't dance around answers to questions. Doesn't like to give 100's though.
