I took this class this semester and I can say this was not a hard class at all literally English 105, but it the grading criteria was ridiculous every other class that's much harder and I take I have an A in yet this class I have a B- I'm one of the few students that actually submit my work on time and class? You have to go and you do nothing

She's really sweet and loving. ENG 105 requires you to do a lot of work and papers, but she's very flexible and understanding. Let's you rewrite your papers if you're not satisfied with your grades, and as long as you give her a heads up/reach out to her she'll be understanding with deadlines and attendance. Usually dismisses class 15 mins. earlier

An extremely caring, intelligent professor. Rabe's class was informative, small (helped with making the class more casual and relaxed), and well worth the experience. As with any "W" class at BSC, you'll be typing up a lot of writings, but Rabe makes it as awesome and easy as possible.

Professor Rabe is great but English105 in general is a course with ridiculous work load however she made it bearable. She extends due dates once in a while. TAKE HER CLASS. She cares about her students and you should do well with minimal effort!

You can rewrite your essay as many as you want until you are satisfied with your grade. For ENG 105 course, you have to write 4 formal essays and some short papers, but as long as long you follow her directions, you will get a very good grade. I will recommend you to take her class.

Well, she is really picky. She gave a lot of homework. If you have heavy schedule in the semester I recommend dont take her class but she is nice lady. You can rewrite essay until you get the score that you want

Professor Rabe is one of the nicest women I've ever met. If you're not satisfied with your grade she give you the chance to rewrite it. She also gives really good feedback on your work. Wish I could take her again.

She's the best professor ever! She's so nice and actually cares. She always lets class out early or cancels it. She's a pretty easy grader and she lets you rewrite papers if you're not satisfied with your grade. You just have to show up, and sit through it, you don't really do much in class. I would definitely recommend taking her class

My favorite professor ever at UB. She gives a good amount of work, but if you go and talk to her about your paper she will let you rewrite your essay until you get the grade you want. As you can tell my english is not my best subject. Also every class ended really early and she really cares about her students.

There are 3 short papers (5 pages) and one 10 page research paper on whatever you want. The three short pages can also be whatever you would like (I wrote about YouTube and got an A). There are about 10 response papers but they are only 1-2 pages and the grading is by checks. At the end you are graded holistically so you can get an easy A.

If you want a lot A LOT A TON of work to do then this is the class for you. She gives wayyyy more work than any ENG201 professor I have ever heard of. At least an essay or 2 essays with a lot of reading is due by every class. She's also not very available and will ignore e-mails and questions when she doesn't feel like a answering. Terrible!

One of my favorite professors at UB. Very lenient, understanding, and always willing to help! Allows for re-drafts of papers until you're satisfied with your grade. Very clear with what she wants done for class. My class never reached the full hour and 20 minutes, some days we only had class for 20 minutes. Great professor.

Alot of work, professor is very picky with corrections. She will see a flaw no matter how good of a paper. Is very critical of citations and sources, and will drive you crazy. also teaches at buff state, so she is not very available for office hours. Also you will have to read alot, and write twice as much as you read. All books are on google.
