Class is BORING!!! If you go the only way to get anything is to sit front row, right in front of her. She is very old and cannot speak up. 1 in class test, 1 14 page paper, and final is a 10 page paper. You can get an easy A, but you will have to spend a lot of time writing. Nice lady though.

very nice lady, but class is boring...impossible to understand. most of the class is discussion(people yelling at each other.) grade determined by 3 ten page papers. everyone gets over a B.

You can barely understand anything she says; not only does she talk with an accent, but she doesn't talk above a murmur. She's always confused and mixing stuff up. Class was easy though; consisted of three exams that were mostly true and false with an essay question at the end. However, I'll never take this class again if I had the choice.

The class is easy bc of take home exams but going to class is pure torture. Maybe its worth it to get the grade but the class is excruciating bc she is so quiet and coughs all the time (smokes like a chimney). She can also be quite disrespectful to students. She is very old, talks very slowly, and has thick accent. Sadly I doubt i learned anything

This professor lacks any semblance of clarity. Moreover, her inability to swallow her pride and read something by a student that outclasses anything she has done is rather vexing. If you write intelligently, are not a moron, do not take this course as you will gain nothing. This class is great for people that cannot write b/c she can't as well.

Difficult class, but Dr. Palmer REALLY knows ancient philosophy and REALLY cares for teaching. Honestly, the class is not exciting, but if you take an interest in ancient philosphy you will immediately see her love for the subject. Grading is freaking awes

This lady is the sweetest lady ever. If you have to take contemporary moral problems, take her. It's such an easy class. If you go to class the day before the test she gives you every question that will be on the test. All the tests are open note, essay,so easy. Sit near the front if you want to understand her, otherwise sit back and enjoythe easy A

I highly recommend this class. Exams were open-note and straightforward. Go to class, take good notes, and you'll get an A. Don't need to read the book, but was still a good reference. Although a little difficult to understand because of her accent, she was extremely sweet and helpful!

Honors class has no tests, but has 4 pretty long papers. Class is usually discussing and debating readings. Talk a lot and she'll love you. Papers aren't hard as long as you understand what you read and articulate your own thoughts. Very interesting class
