I heard that she was gone from Creighton now and thought, "Thank God!" I came in as a freshman 100% confident in psych as my major. I almost did not take another class in it because of her. I am glad that I did and that I am in a Ph.D. program now.

Dr. Stone knows her stuff. The only reason that a student would find her unhelpful is because they are unwilling to help themselves. She is tough because she wants to to learn and if you give her a chance - she will teach you!!

Knows what she's talking about, enjoys it, and brings some humor into the class. Makes RMS interesting and fun, uses real life examples and will go over examples with you. Posts study quizzes, have to be in class to get the notes. Fairly quick 50 min. Speak up and participate in class - just try to participate makes things go faster!!

Ugh. Boring Class. No group interaction at all. Just straight lectures from a powerpoint that aren't even detailed. Study guides are pretty useless and tests are hard. Try to stay away.

Do not take her if you can help it. Every class, she stands up front lecturing and it is incredibly boring. Read the book for supplementary material and look over the objectives. But even then, her tests are really hard and no one in my class did well on them. The paper isn't too bad, but it doesn't make up for the tests. Stay away!

I put a fair amount of effort into her class and came away with little. She never emphaseizes the book even though it is a must for her class. Lectures=pointless. I got a B, but on most tests, I had no clue what was going on. If I did see her getting mugged on the street, I would not help her. I may even crack one open and watch.

This was the hardest class I have ever taken, and I am a junior. She knows the material, but doesnt know how to teach it so the students understand it. IF you want to spend hours reading your text book to understand what was discussed in class then this is the class for you. I suggest you stay far away from her classes. Her grading is arbitrary

You will not get an A in this class. Only about 2-3 people out of 55 can get an A. How reasonable is that? I got a C and put in a good amount of effort. Take someone like miller of budesheim but not this teacher. You will regret it and you have been warned

DO NOT TAKE DR. STONE. You leave her lecture knowing nothing, and when you go to study her notes, you wonder what the heck it's supposed to mean because she doens't a) explain things and b) her powerpoint notes are vague and useless. The class is boring and tests are HARD. Worst Psych prof EVER.

Dr. Stone is a really nice lady, and the class isnt to difficult. Do the studyguides and you'll be fine. Going to class is a waste of time though cuz the tests are straight from the book.

Dr. Stone tries to keep things interesting but doesn't usually succeed. She's helpful outside of class, but coming to class is hard to do since it's so boring and attendance is not mandatory.

Tests are somewhat hard and difficult to prepare for, but the paper is easy. Lectures are okay, but Dr. Stone doesn't really do anything else. I got a B without reading the chapters or taking many notes. Study the bold terms (high school strats, lawl) and you can get a B like I did. Otherwise you're in for a lot of studying if you want the A.

I did not read the book and came out with an acceptable grade. She simply outlines the book in her lecture; if you want specifics or an A you need to read the text. She was difficult, but not as hard as people here make her out to be. Dry humor and a fairly laidback class make it only somewhat interesting; lectures are boring.

She is very clear on content, and tests are based directly on her notes and lecture. Pay attention to even small things mentioned in lecture, because surprisingly they will show up on tests. Grading is hard- not sure if she actually gives out any A's. Class discussions and exercises are very helpful in preparing for the essay section of tests.

Dr. Stone is the worst teacher I have ever taken. Notes are useless, tests are tricky and hard. I stopped going to class and I got better grades taking my own notes from the book. She is lazy has a TA and Paper Grader, doesn't do any work but lectures, not helpful. I don't know why some people think she's good. DON'T TAKE STONE!!!
