Cummings is super chill and is always cracking jokes. He knows the material really well, too. The problem is, most of the material in this class is common sense, so its hard to stay engaged. The curve makes it hard to get an A. I took this pass no pass, probably got around a B+. Better to take this in person. A lot of collaborating with peers.

Lectures were really boring and I found it difficult to pay attention. 304 is notorious for being an easy B, but nearly impossible A. The grading is super subjective and there usually isn't enough feedback to justify why you got the grade that you got. Participation really matters in this class, so ask questions or say something during lectures.

BUAD304 is a pretty dry class but Prof Cummings does his best to make the material more interesting. He grades the group project really leniently, so the midterm and final were extremely important. Participation is absolutely key in this class.

I quite liked him as a professor, but sometimes I have time concentrating in his class. He is pretty chill, and he isn't a hard grader. He replies emails really fast. Most of the group projects and case analysis are easy assignments where everyone gets really good grades. It is the final exam and midterm that determines your letter grade the most.

304 is a hard class to get an A in regardless of the prof but Cummings does a great job teaching the material in a way that applies to real life. One group project, two exams (both are timed essays). Participation is the key to getting an A in the class. If you put in effort and pay attention you'll do well. By far my favorite USC class I've taken

He is funny sometimes but boring course. Unreasonable task grade distribution and strange grading standard. Too many assignments even at the end of the semester.

Honestly this class is about the easiest concepts in the world but the grading is super subjective and you end the year wondering why you got the grade you got when you literally know all of the material.

Best professor you can get for BUAD 304. Believes in material that is relevant so does not use the book much. Exams are from the PPT slides. Makes the class very interesting and is very funny. Replies to emails in minutes and is very real about everything

Uncle Tommy has been my fav prof at USC. Never fails to make us laugh & still covers all of the info in class. Taking notes in class is useless, he posts the slides on blackboard. Don't do the readings (textbook or Ares), but they come in handy for the group proj and the 3 case studies. For the midterm/final, he only tests on the slides,so memorize

304 is a pretty boring class, but Prof. Cummings does his best to make it interesting. He is extremely funny, caring, and willing to help you in whatever way you need. To succeed in the class just memorize the powerpoints (no need to read the textbook) and make sure you do well in the team project. Not exactly an easy A, but it's not that difficult

Prof Cummings is by far the best 304 teacher I know. His lectures were entertaining and he is pretty funny and genuinely seems to love what he does. They do sometimes drag on but you won't miss anything since he posts the slides on blackboard after. I would definitely recommend taking his class - you won't regret it.

Probably the best teacher for 304. Despite the class being extremely boring and hard to pay attention to, he tries to make connections and apply the concepts. He's funny, a nice man and a chill grader (even though beating the curve for an A is nearly impossible). Take his class!
