Accused me of plagiarism for not citing a source on a research paper, there were no written directions to do so, he spent 2 weeks to passive aggresive email me about a solution. By this time I was well behind the rest of the class, he agreed to let me rewrite the paper because I got admin involved. He failed all my work for rest of sem. as a grudge

Okay. This guy is really difficult only if you take like, zero notes. If you write down what he's saying you'll be able to pass just fine because you'll have all the supplementary info you need, along with the reading. Ask him questions if you're confused. His class is NOT a place to debate, he's here to teach. He's like a wild uncle. I like him :)

He constantly goes off topic and then gets passive aggressive when we don't know things. Sure, he's a funny guy, but I have learned almost nothing in the time I've spent in this class. He never responds to emails even if they're urgent. I'm usually a straight A student and this class is so difficult for me simply because of his teaching style.

This man literally will talk about the most irrelevant things, be off topic the whole class, then get mad at you for not retaining any information he attempted to slip in during his tangent. I have never wanted to drop a class more in my life. Having a sense of humor is great but his snarky attitude is terrible and will just frustrate you.

Is not clear with any of his lectures and is super arrogant! He gives a quiz a week but it's never clear what it's on. Super annoying and always gets off topic. Waste of credits. Super hard material, especially if you don't enjoy the class. Drop early if you're going to drop and save yourself some stress.

Definitely one of my favorite professors so far, though it takes a bit to get used to him. His humor is dark and kind of shocking in the beginning, so if you can't handle a joke, don't take his class. There are tests every week, but they're all MC and TF, be prepared to read a lot, but the book can be interesting. Don't put off the final essay.

Lectures are interesting but he doesnt provide PowerPoints and writes on the chalkboard. He has very poor handwriting so its sometimes hard to read what hes writing. & the notes are very unclear when I go back and read them later. He also grades really harsh. But hes really funny and easy to talk to.

he was the worst excuse of a professor to grace god's green earth. funny guy but a bogus teacher, too condescending and rude. thinks he's better than you because he spent 20 years getting a PhD in philosophy. stay away from him, waste of time and messes your GPA up

He is my favorite professor I've had at Fredonia. He is so funny that its hard not to pay attention and his classes are too interesting. Not boring at all and helps explain philosophy in a not so confusing way. Uses good and easy to remember examples which help on quizzes. Lot of quizzes which help boost your grade.

Jacuzzo is one of the best professors I've had the pleasure of learning from. Most of the people who think he's a poor teacher couldn't be bothered to think critically about an issue if their lives depended on it. While he's a tough grader on the final paper he'll give you feedback if you reach out. Cool guy just to go talk to also.

Prof Jacuzzo was easily the worst professor I've ever had. His lectures relate to nothing on the test. He's very disorganized (lost one of my tests)and doesn't use OnCourse at all. For our final paper he told us we could email him to get feedback, Neither one of my emails were ever returned. Only grades are 3 tests. Condescending and rude

He has his own brand of humor, typically seen as weird by almost all. Tests are hard if you don't understand the material, and are mostly really tricky true/false questions. He takes attendance every day, and books are recommended, but not really needed.

Prof. Jacuzzo's courses were amazing. The only people that complain about are those who got into college without the ability to think at the college level. His class forces you to think if you want to be successful. Multiple guess tests are a drag, but if you read, you'll be fine. Essays are tough, but you will be a better writer afterward.

Not really much to complain about, I thought he was a great professor. He may be a tough grader, but he is also a fair grader, and gives you the tools you need in order to pass. I found his lectures to be informative, entertaining, and engaging. Final exam is tough and time consuming, but you have a week to do it. I would take his class again.

He does not explain anything and fails more than half the class for no reason, his lectures are confusing and usually have nothing to do with the class, he often makes very inappropriate and offensive comments. do not take it will ruin your GPA like it did to mine.

Great guy, but oh my god I don't know what I'm doing. He writes down situations on the board that are actually WRONG but doesn't really bother to tell you which ones are wrong or right. it's very frustrating. asking questions in class really just confuses you more so don't bother

Really cool guy, just a bad prof. His lectures get very vague. I definitely lose interest a LOT. Essays are difficult as well as tests. He'll help you if you contact him yourself, but he doesn't care a whole lot otherwise. Says he enjoys failing students. Overall, I say avoid this class if you're not a philosophy majoralready good at philosophy.

Comment:
Dr. Jacuzzo is very funny and approachable. He comes off as a funny uncle and not so intimidating like many other professors. His class is only difficult if you skip class, don't do the reading, and do not actively think and participate in the discussions. Very interesting and thought provoking course. I would definitely take it again if i could.
