Physics 2 with calc is way harder than physic 1 with calc. This class you have to have a solid calc background to even understand what he is talking about in class or else you will be like me playing around with the equations and mess around to get the correct answers, sad I didn't learn much.

He's very hard to understand and goes over very specific examples in his lectures that usually don't help you with the regular homework. He had some cool in-class demonstrations though. You will have to read the textbook to understand the material.

it is very hard to understand the professor teach because of his thick german accent, the class is not that bad if you like physics, calculus, stress, hard tests, pop quizzes, and 3 hour long lectures twice a week

Explains the material very simply, gives you a practice exam to study which is very similar to actual exam, study it and you're solid. If you miss an assignment, talk to him and he'll work with you. Homework wasn't too bad. Nice guy on top of that. Formula sheet given but has everything you need.

Random quizzes, random labs, random worksheets, random, clicker questions, and homework at odd times. (Ex. Weds. 10PM, Fri. 11:50PM, Sat. 9PM). Very nice man, helpful 1 on 1 if you can get over the accent, not the best lecturer though.

Dr. Schulte has very fair tests and honestly not that much homework. The lectures were a bit boring, but what do you expect if physics really isn't your thing. He wants you to pass and helps by offering practice exams and discussion time out of class. Overall, I think he's a good professor to take physics 1 with.

The usual: caring prof, but you have to put in the extra work outside to understand the course. He's available for office hours and recitations, but he can talk over your head if you didn't understand the lecture.

Professor Schulte is a really nice professor. There are 3 tests. On the free-responses, he is very lenient with giving partial credit for trying. As long as you understand the homework and do a ton of practice problems, you should succeed in the class. However, there are pop quizzes and clickers throughout the lecture.

Dr. Schulte was a really good Physics professor. He does have pop quizzes and Iclicker questions. His exams are not too bad and he posts practice exams beforehand. The average for his exams turned out to be a B and he is a very fair grader. He grades tests quickly but won't put in grades until much later. He has really cool demos in class as well.

He is a nice professor who explains the material very well, is a clear grader, goes over problems, shows examples, demonstrates experiments, etc... He covers all bases imo and is a great professor. I do feel bad for him since people talking during his lecture but he still teaches regardless. Also has a heavy German accent but is understandable.

Dr. Schulte is a knowledgeable professor who wants his students to succeed. The labs help you learn a lot about the subject matter and get you working with the formulas learned in lecture. He also drops some assignments to boost your grade, so diligence is rewarded.

I really enjoyed this class. Pop quizzes, but he will usually tell you when they are towards the end. Gives formula sheet. Only takes two test grades out of three, plus final. If you sit in the front you can take a picture of the screen when he starts to do clickers and get all the answers. Homework is all online. Don't ask him for help w/ math.

His grading scale is the best. A 60 is a C, so it is very difficult to not pass the class. He is always there to answer questions and paying attention during lecture really helps a lot (even though it can be tough because he is a slow and quiet speaker). Clicker questions are easy so it's a great way to snag more points. Would take him again.

The use of iClickers in class counted towards the total grade. The lecture was enjoyable, but the lab being taught by one of the TAs was sub-par at best. It is a physics course so you will need to spend hours practicing if you want to do well. Trying to cram something like inertia in the night before a test will not work out! Great prof. 5/5.

Dr. Schulte is extremely fair. An 88 is an A and his exams directly reflect the level of difficulty of the homework. I knew exactly what to expect. He sort of seems nervous and occasionally will mess up with his explanations, but not often. Amount of homework is manageable and helpful. He is one of the best professors I have ever had.

He's probably one of the better professors to take for Physics 2. Lectures are long and very boring. Tests can be hard but is very lenient on grading, definitely wouldn't have gotten an A if it wasn't for how easy he grades the tests. Very helpful if you go to him after class and even extends homework if you ask him to. Study his back exams!

Tests are not easy, but Dr. Schulte gives you more than enough resources to do well on them; homework, review questions, slides, old tests, etc. If you put the time in and study all of the materials, you should be able to ace the tests. Beware of quizzes; study for them because they're hard a big part of you grade. Lenient grader. Youtube helps!
