I took him for a standard Geology course a year or so ago and he rounds up by about two letter grades. I had a D and received a B. Class is curved, the class was introduction to Geology. Interesting guy, is knowledgeable on the content. Do the homework and wing the tests you will be fine.

I love Dr. Green. He's a super nice guy and has a real no bullcrap attitude. You really need to come to class so you can get all the info from his lectures and you definitely NEED to read the book if you want to do well. He's always willing to help and you should definitely take his class.

It's kind of a boring class unless you're really into geology but its quite passable. Green really knows his stuff and will help you understand it too (he wants everyone to do well). The grade consisted of three midterms, 1 final and the lab component plus a decent curve because the exams were challenging (no homework or attendance!)

You have to work for your grade. Homeworks were relatively easy, but you had to spend time with the material. Your textbook will become your best friend. READ IT. Lectures were long and boring, but he is very knowledgeable. Willing to help students during his office hours and weekly review sessions.

For an intro class it is really hard. The lecture is really boring&hard to pay attention. Dr. Green uses the book's power point so it's a reiteration of the book. Write down what he says in lecture not the slides. If you're not going to try, don't take this class. It is hard. The avg. on the majority of our tests were 50% but he curves (Thank God)

Worst class I have ever taken. Dull lectures that are don't even pertain to the exam. The book is dense and so hard to find information on. Whether I went to class or not, it didn't matter, still almost failed the exams. The only bright side is that the class is curved so much that you can slightly stay afloat.

He was awful, the class is so boring, he has minimal notes on the screen during lectures, I studied for 11 hours for his exams to get C's. Office hours are so inconvenient and he has no interest in helping, do not take this class with him.

Class attendance is not mandatory but you should go because some exam material thats not in the book is given in lecture. Material is a little dry but he makes it interesting and easy to understand. No homework, only exams and labs which are easy. The lab exam is somewhat hard though. I found my book online for free. I'd advise getting the book.

I really love the course. His lectures are really interesting and relates things back to engineering, which is very cool. Exams are a bit challenging, but the lab portion is a bigger percent, so no big deal. Exam questions are a combo of lecture notes and the text, so don't skip out on readings!

His Introductory class was impossible. The average in the class is a 50%. Grades were so bad he changed the scale so an F translates into a C. Also extremely boring.

Great teacher very knowledgeable about the subject. His lectures can be a little boring so make sure you have some interest in the subject before enrolling. There are only 3 tests including the final which is 40% of the grade. Weekly homework. He is very helpful to his students. Nice guy.

Professor Green has a very monotonous voice that will put you to sleep. Thankfully, his homework is one of the easiest things on the planet, as are his exams. He'll help you if you ask. Not a bad class, just boring.

It's a boring class but not really his fault, it's just a boring subject, doesn't give you a study guide so you have to focus on reading, but he grades on a big curve so it's not too bad.

He is SUCH a sweet guy. Really will help you if you need it. His classes dragged on a bit, but if you pay attention he has a really dry sense of humor, which is actually pretty funny. He makes his exams ALL from the book, so you have to study the text book in order to do well. I say take him ONLY if you're interested in the subject.

Class is not hard, it's appropriately challenging. Professor Green goes over the textbook information in class and you have everything you need to study for. He is extremely nice and helpful. For all of those who think the class is boring, get to know him and ask questions. He is passionate and knowledgeable. One of my favorite professors!

Not the most interesting class but not difficult. Go to class and take notes and you will be fine. He shows a decent amount of really cool videos. The tests are directly from the notes and I didn't buy the book.
