Top five easiest A's I've ever gotten. I showed up to maybe 10 classes all semester before Covid happened and got an A on every test. Your GA will give hints to everything needed to know on the test. You get a full page of cheat sheet on each test. Only grades are 5 tests and 5 problem sets given before each test. SUPER tough accent but easy A.

This class was a real drag, the lectures were so boring and sometimes you could not hear a word he was saying. If you review the material he gives you for the test you'll walk out of this course with an A.

There are five exams and they're all based off the study guide almost question by question. Its like he got tired of coming up with new questions so he just reuses the same questions over and over again. You don't have to pay attention to the lectures as long as you understand the problem sets and study guides.

Good professor and knows what he is doing. Very difficult to understand verbally and written. Tests are pretty much the same thing as the study guide he gives you. Not much homework. I would recommend him if you just need accounting for your major.

Difficult to understand accent, but if you can get past that roadblock, he's great. Wants the best for his students, offers a small amnt of extra credit, and doesn't give a lot of homework.

Huge language barrier. I'm a senior and I've never rated a professor until now because of how bad this prof was. He doesn't understand what students are asking when they have questions and he just says to ask his assistant for help. Good luck understanding him during his lectures. It's still easy to get at least a B, you will have to teach yourself

I wish I could give him a zero. He is terrible. Degrades his students and you cannot under stand him at all during lectures. He lectures and expects everyone to know everything prior to class. He will call you out. The class would be an interesting class with a decent prof. If at all possible, with limited options, take this course online.

So hard to understand. I have not learned much in this class because it is so hard to understand him. He can also be very rude, and will yell at the class for not doing something which he never told us about. Also is very unorganized, doesn't really seem like he knows what he's doing. Class is fairly easy if you can put up with him.

He is extremely hard to understand and he mumbles a lot. He gets upset easily and will call you out. Which most of the time you don't even know what he's mad at because you can't understand him to begin with. Lots of case studies. Easy grade for the most part. Study hard for tests.

First, Dr. Rathinasamy is awesome! Second, to the student who posted on Dec 8 2015, Rathin made it clear that in all 7 group cases each student complete all problems and then combine the best answers at the end. This way, we would feel comfortable with the final exam. Third, we did not even take it until Dec 15 2015, so you had no notion of it.

This class was easier than expected. Rathin is an easy grader but seems confused most of the time during his lectures. His thick accent is sometimes frustrating, especially when he mumbles. I would recommend taking it online since it's extremely boring sitting class. Assignments and exams are really easy and he curves a lot.

This class was required for my major. Rathin is one of the most difficult professors I've ever had with respect to being able to understand what he says. The class is based off of homework, cases (which are completed in groups), tests and a final that is not multiple choice but instead is an in-class analysis case which you have to do alone...

He does not like questions unless they are answered in the textbook. Tells random stories. Difficult to understand. He is very disorganized with this thoughts and he distracts himself. Class itself is pretty easy. Overall poor experience.

I am sitting in Rathin's class right now and all I can think about is leaving or shooting myself... Maybe stabbing my eyes out with my pen isn't a bad idea either. Any of these options would be better than sitting here. Listening to him talk I have determined that he is speaking another language...Perhaps Indian? French? Pig-Latin? ... Not sure.

Some people obviously find his disorganisation, eccentricity and incomprehensible accent funny. I don't find it very funny...he falls way short of the standards and professionalism a college professor should show. To add to this he is completely unapproachable if you need to ask him a question.

I went into Rathinasamys class thinking he was going to be a huge challenge. I came to find out that his Indian accent isn't too bad, and he raises every test score by like 20%. Take him if you like to learn and get a good grade!
