Comment:
Very kind, great lectures, but they are boring to most. Whole class was just two exams and quizzes, but no opportunity to participate for the 10% of the grade. Exams were straight essays but he tells you before what they will be. Very easy class as long as you read. You can learn a lot from him, but you have to care.

He is a wonderful teacher and cares very deeply about philosophy. He gives pop quizzes on reading but they are not difficult if you read. No papers, which is great. 2 tests and then the final. Tests are based on in class lectures. If you take good notes, study those notes, and regurgitate then on the test you will be golden.

He is a very good teacher, can be a boring class, just take good notes and you'll be fine. Pop quizes on readings but they don't count for much. Liked the class

I think he encouraged thinking and discussion a whole lot more than my intro Philosophy classes. Very manageable. Dr. Cunningham is a friendly teacher who really just wants his class to reflect and question the topics. Great class.

Really cool dude, easy to get along with. Class is a bit tough just because it's philosophy and can get to be very tough to understand wording. Always available for help and you always benefit from going to his office.

A few reflection papers and a couple of exams for this guy is not too bad. He does a great job covering a vast area of modern philosophy. Very insightful, but can be dry at times. I plan on taking him a third time for Bioethics. Just can't get away from this man.

dr. cunningham is a great guy and he's one of the nicest teachers i've ever had. it's hard not to love him. but he's not always easy. bio-ethics was a breeze, but he expects more from his plato students. definitely take his classes, but if its pl 366 be prepared to do some thinking.

I think he is a great teacher. In class all we do is take notes. He gives quizes on the readings but they are not difficult at all. There are 3 papers to do during the semester, but they aren't too hard. The tests are all essay, but they aren't very hard either. I recommend taking his class.
