Very easy class. Interesting books, short essays. Despite the fact that we basically do nothing all class, she's constantly cursing, screaming, making inappropriate comments, and showing up unprepared. Very unprofessional and often pushes her liberal beliefs. If you can put up with all of that, then she isn't so bad and neither is the work load.

Lagreca is crazy. She will not shy away from roasting you alive for something petty. Drops tons of f bombs. Easy class though. Show up and don't say anything and you're guaranteed a B at the very worst

If you enjoy the presence of an extremely moody, rude, mean, and terrible woman then this is the class for you. Gets mad at you for asking questions, constantly drops F bombs, and thinks she tells you things when she actually doesn't. I have never met a more horrible person in my life. DO NOT TAKE.

do the assignments. hand the assignments in on time. follow the "wish list" that she gives out on the first day of class- it lists the do's and don'ts. go to the writing lab. DO NOT MISS CLASS!!! Very interesting pieces of literature chosen for each assignment. The literary pieces make you think about the world around you.

Carla can be crazy at times and only her opinion of a story is right. However, she is an easy grader. There is no attendance policy but for most readings there are quizzes every class that cant be made up. We had a total of 3 papers besides the quizzes. if you just read the story it is an easy 100 on them. Plus a final

Had her for Intro To Lit. She is very intimidating at first and can be scary, but her class is super easy. Her assignments are clear and shes an easy grader. She curses and jokes around a lot so you just need to joke back and PARTICIPATE she writes down when you talk even if its just one sentence. Also try not to miss class. Take her..youll like it

class is super easy if you can put up with her craziness. takes no excuses for absences and either cancels half the classes or shows up super late. CRAZY. out of her mind, talks about rescuing cats and inappropriate comments and pushes her hippie liberal thoughts on you. gives a quiz and then throws it away, dont waste your time with this mess

THE worst teacher I have ever had in my life! Every class was unbearable with her yelling and flipping out over any little thing. I always liked literature until I had the class with Carla. Hated every single minute of literature with her. Do NOT take. She is NUTS and should not be teaching.

I cannot stand this class. The only studying of Lit we actually do is when she gives us ridiculously long reading assignments out of the text (which is quite frequent). Other than that her class is basically just her pushing her liberal agenda on you. She's unprepared, complains a lot, and her teaching style is unpredictable and poor.

If you know how to deal w/ a bi-polar person then you may be able to handle this course. She is both happy and angry in one class. She yells at the students and also curses. She isn't professional at all. Also, watch out if you are absent or she will let you have it!

Very interesting person. Hilarious at times. As for teaching skills, a lot of memorization and almost all grades were based on the 5 papers written, each no more than 4 pages. Very slow at handing back papers, so difficult to take criticism on previous paper for the next one.

I can't stand this woman. She is insane. Sweat pants, wet hair, moody, no organization, takes months to grade papers, so picky about what she wants, read poem about how quiet people shouldnt be punished then grades on how much you talk, accused me of not handing in final paper after she made me read it out loud during the last class, needs help

She's absolutely hysterical, and it was one of the easiest classes ever. You write 5 papers all semester, and do the readings she assigns. She gives you exactly what you need to memorize for the 3 quizes we had. She's like an old hippy.

This was the worst class I have ever taken in my life. She doesn't know anything about Lit. and doesn't want you to learn anything. She told us just to memorize and she didn't care if we understood or not. It was useless. It was frustrating. You read for homework and then come into class and all she does is read the chapter outloud.DO NOT TAKE

Carla has an interesting attitude. If you can tolerate the readings, the class will be easy. She is a relatively fair grader. It wasn't the easiest of classes, seeing as how she killed everyone for switching tenses in the first paper. Get by that, and the rest of the papers aren't that bad. There were lots of readings you could get off w/o reading.

This class should be called War, War, War. Most of what we had to react to was newspaper articles about war, not literature. And we didn't go into gender much at all. But she let's us do art for journals and final projects, which made it easier. Didn't really learn a whole lot though. And she took her anger out on the class a lot.

Scared the sh*t out of me the first day, but in the end you grow to love Carla. Papers are easy, just voice your opinion in class. She's funny and a nice woman, just don't ****her off!
