nice guy. but this man is so smart that it is hard to follow him. read the textbook as much as possible, do all homework assignments, go to every class, buy every Organic For Dummies book you can find, Solutions manual..everything bc you will need it to get through teaching yourself.

Lets face the facts: Organic Chemistry will never be easy, no matter who is teaching it. He is an incredibly intelligent man. I spent first semester confused in class bc I wasn't doing the readings till the week of the test. Horrible idea. This semester, I read before every class and it's going so much better. Oh, and he's hilarious.

Wanted to kill myself everynight...very unclear... going from general chem to organic is a huge change and then having to havea teacher not being able to teach is even worse.. but deal with it because he is the only organic chem teacher in the whole god damn college... i would recommend a summer course elsewhere..

honestly, not a bad person, pretty funny in his own way...but maybe a bad teacher...the course is designed to be difficult, and it would be nice to have teacher who could explain the material more clearly, but overall, not so so bad. however, you're gonna be teaching yourself from the text primarily, dont expect to get much out of lecture.
