Good lectures. Needs get better at organizing the course and making information easy to access. Good pdf notes if you go to class, useless if you miss one. (Half-filled PDF's) I hate when profs do this. The slackers are gonna skip anyways. Tests are not extremely hard, but are always too long.

Codding is a bit goofy with her examples in class, but overall she explains her concepts well. The course is alot more math/physics orientated than CHEM 101, so make sure you get used to it. Midterms were a bit hard, but the final was straight forward.

The only problems I've ever heard from people about Dr. Codding were from first years who complain that she makes examples in class.. Having had lots of science profs I would say codding is one of the best I've ever had who cares if she makes a couple calculation errors she's helpful, clear and cares!

Codding is a great, great prof. Her notes are awesome (power point), she keeps you engaged through the class, and she explains concepts well. Believe me, once you've had her you won't want anyone else! Now I'm stuck with Briggs and he's awful compared to her!

Dr.Codding is over all great! I really can't judge her that chemistry is boring, but at least she could of made the course much more entertaining. She was only flipping through her power point presentation and laughed when she made a mistake. One thing that bugged me the most is that her notes are USELESS and unrelated to the MANY online quizes... i

Excellent prof. Really wants to make sure everyone understands. Very clear and relates topics to real-life situations for ease of comprehension. Class is mostly comprehension and review of basic principles. Prof was always willing to help and will try to explain things a few ways to get to the root of your misunderstanding.

The course content is easy, mostly from grade 11 but more detailed. She sometimes makes mistakes, and when you ask her questions she can seem somewhat irritated, but overall she is quite good. The Chem 101 midterms are EXTREMELY FAIR. Study and you will do very well in this course.

Excellent prof! Printed notes make it so easy to follow so that you can listen, and not just bury your head and copy. She does questions half way through every lecture to do a bit of a recap which worked wonders for me. I would highly recomend her.
