Her lectures are straight to the point. She never gives you more or less than you need. Always tells you exactly what she expects from you and does a solid review before exams. She should be at an Ivy League University. She doesn't do powerpoints which is a tough adjustment at first, but she is so clear in her lectures. Record the class. Get A's.

She is wonderful. She does not encourage laziness. Nothing for the test is out of her lectures. Great Professor. She will tell you, her job is to let you know the materials and yours is to let her know how much you know on the exams. Very understanding and caring. Knows her stuff. Will do it again with her if I have to.

Do the work and get an A. It's that simple. A&P is a hard subject, however it doesn't get any easier that her. She's a piece of cake. Show up, put forth the effort, and no problem.

You definitely need to pay attention for the full class, but luckily she is hilarious and easy to follow. Skipping a class will really have you behind and be prepared to STUDY for exams. I can't stress it enough. Some of the things that were gone over in class for only a few minutes could be on the exam.

She is awesome! Love how she has a sense of humor and is never intimidating like other teachers are. She does tend to be all over the place, but as long you take good notes you've got everything you need to pass this course! I loved AP 1 with her, and am taking AP 2 right now! Always interesting and never a dull moment in her classroom

Best science teacher ever. Talks like a normal person when teaching A&P II. Explains the "big words" and makes the concepts so easy to understand that you'd have to be really stupid not to understand. Class requires a lot of study time because of the nature and volume of material covered.

Amazing instructor for A&P II. Tough, but very fair. If you take detailed notes and study very hard- you will get an "A". Dr. Dougherty is always available during her office hours and extremely helpful. Made a very difficult subject easy to understand.

I wouldn't suggest any other A&P teacher except Dougherty. Great sense of humor, excellent instructor. She doesn't use the text book at all, so you will take A LOT of notes, but she only teaches you what you need to know. Highly recommend recording lectures.

Anatomy Physiology is not an easy course, no matter who teaches it. Dougherty makes the material easy to understand. She keeps you awake in an 8am class. Friendly, approachable, honest. Never nasty when you ask about a grade on a test. LOVE her & will take her again for A&P2(BIO209)Only drawback was office hours- hard to find outside of class.
