This is by far the best professor/ teacher I have ever had. He is the kindest, most genuine professor. He is extremely understanding that we often become stressed. He tries his best to give minimal work and good grades. I had him for an 8 am online, and he was the only teacher worth waking up for and keeping my camera on. Not a bad bone in his body

Best teacher I've had. You can tell how much he truly cares for each student. Doesn't seem to require attendance (although it seems like he appreciates it) but I enjoyed going to each class and never felt like skipping. Was online Spring '21 semester but in person otherwise I think. Such a great guy &was extremely understanding of stress/overwork.

Very chill professor. Only a few assignments designed so you can do one project element for a C range grade, 2 for a B range grade, and 3 for an A range grade. He's pretty disorganized but genuinely very understanding and truly cares about his students.

Best teacher ever! Gives you easy As if you just do the work he asks. Very straightforward and caring! He WANTS you to succeed which I find many professors do not care what grade you get. Also, be prepared to do some origami :)))

He's really chill and I've enjoyed my time in his class. Not too work heavy - there's only like 2 projects and 2 tests. He's very understanding and I highly recommend!

Doc is the man. Extremely funny, and very understanding of his students. The only problem is how light he takes the class, its fine in the start when the material is pretty easy to grasp, towards the end, he still has that light attitude except the material gets more difficult, and you hate to say it, but he doesn't really prepare you for the test

Loved him. The most reasonable person I know. You don't have to come to class, but make sure you know what your doing before a test. The class is mostly tests, but they are short. Always available to help you! Loves to help his students.

Doc is amazing! TAKE HIM FOR STATS! No attendance policy and he tries so hard for his students to have grades that they are happy with. I barely went to class and got an A. No homework either.

Attendance isn't mandatory but you'll want to go to class. Doc made the material SO simple and easy to understand. I'm not a math person at all but took his statistics course for my first year math requirement, and Doc really worked with us to make sure we got it. Great guy, great class. 10/10 would recommend.

Russell is one of my favorite professors so far at Elon. He will do whatever it takes to help you succeed and always has fun doing it. Every class is enjoyable and attendance is not mandatory. He really cares about his students.

One of the nicest and caring professors I've encountered. Tests are pretty straight forward, barely used the book, and gives 2 projects that are pretty easy during the semester. He always knows how to brighten your day with his humor and he's overall such a jolly person. I wish I would have him for more classes because of how easy and nice he is.

Never showed up on a single friday and got an A. I am horrible at calc and was so nervous, but this was so so easy. TAKE HIS CLASS, EVEN IF IT IS EARLY, BECAUSE YOU DONT EVEN HAVE TO GO. SERIOUSLY DO IT

He is the best professor I've had here yet! He's so funny and always makes class interesting. He's just an all-around good guy and is respected by ALL students. He doesn't give that much homework and when he does, he's super clear on what he expects and he is not a hard grader. He gets the stress students are under which is so incredibly nice!

Super easy. Didn't really learn much but for someone who plans on using very minimal of statistics in their future career, it was the perfect class for me. Not mandatory attendance, always lets you out early, you have to be dead not to pass.

He is hilarious, attendance isn't mandatory, you will get let out super early, and you can pretty much do whatever you want during the class. However, you won't learn much and you will likely miss a few points on your tests unless you teach yourself.

Alan is amazing! I'm not very interested in Statistics, and I didn't think I was very good at it. Alan really helped me - and everyone - understand what we're learning and makes it interesting. It's the best math class I've ever taken!
