Tom is amazing!! I took History 130 and 131 with him because his class was so interesting. He's a great teacher, kept the class interesting, was witty/funny... I don't know if he's still teaching at Grossmont (I took his classes in 2008, I think). I def recommend his class. It was important to show up to class & take good lecture notes b.

Best class ever. All you have to do is take detailed notes of the lectures and youll get an A. open note tests. Whats better, is you actually come away from the class learning A LOT about indian culture and history. Its an interesting, fun, easy, and informative class. excellent teacher!

i love tom!!i always looked forward to going to his class. He's very knowledgeable, he's funny, has many personal stories that relate to class subjects. Class work=take great notes, don't really need to read the book, tests are open-note, 95% of test material is lecture, there's 3 essays due & that's it. Please take his class You WILL enjoy it.

He is very cool. He takes roll for the first 2 weeks then stops. I also didn't even buy the book and I got a good grade. His lectures are mostly stories. He has been married about a million times so he has a lot of funny stories. Easy class, take him, you won't regret it.

SUCH A GREAT TEACHER!!! did not touch the book, but still learned a lot & got an A!!! Great stories!
