I love Crystal as a professor but she isn't very helpful outside of class. And yes she does have her favorites but I was lucky enough to be one of them. It seems that the more involved with the theatre you are, the more she likes you. (Just a helpful tip)

There were at times she was sort of flaky, but overall one of my only two favorite teachers at Bay! She's very energetic and motivating and helped me outside of class MANY times, not to mention letting me send speeches to her through email if I couldn't print them off in time!!!

Typical theatre person: flaky, phony, personality ruled by emotion. Her teaching plan is very good, but her grading is based heavily on favoritism. had runin with her out of school, my grade immediately suffered. I am 3.85 GPA student got C- in her class, obviously she didn't like what I said out of class and brought personal feelings into grade.

Crystal is a great teacher, and a wonderful person. I can see where people are coming from when they say she plays favorites, but at the same time she is going to treat you equally. Weird, I know. She isn't going to do something different for you because you are or aren't her favorite. Also, she isn't fake. She's a drama/theatre major.

Crystal was my favorite teacher at Bay by far! She knows what she's talking about and conveys her message very well. She was also very helpful in and out of class. I loved her classes and think everyone should take her before leaving Bay!

One of the best teachers I've ever had. She is passionate about reaching her students and does everything possible to keep her lectures interesting and moving. This class is fun and very worthwhile, Crystal is a fantastic woman and a great teacher.

Crystal is a great teacher and very organized and has great lectures. To get an A you need to come to class. I loved this class and learned a lot. I wasn't like her "favorite" student but I still felt I was treated fairly. I think she's great! She knows what she is talking about.
