She is the best professor I have ever had. If you can take a class with her, please do it. I was scared to take calculus 3 and lacked a foundation, but her enthusiasm and teaching made the subject come easy to me and I did well. She's open to students asking questions, organized, dedicated, understanding, and just overall a great person.

Dr. Demeyer is an amazing professor who really cares about her students. She isn't a harsh grader and wants to do whatever she can to help you succeed. What I was expecting to be a difficult subject, turned out to be my favorite math class I have taken. When looking for a professor for Calc 3 or any math class, you cannot go wrong with Dr. Demeyer.

Lisa is amazing. Math comes naturally for me and with her teaching, it was just too easy. If you pay attention and take notes, you will be fine. Homework is reasonable, tests are reasonable. Dr. DeMeyer was not only the best math prof I ever had in general, but she is also the best math prof at CMU. Very caring and communicates with students very well. She makes sure that the students are doing ok with the workload and if not she is quick to help. She not only made calc 3 understandable but also fun.

Dr. DeMeyer is one of the best math teachers I've had and certainly the best at CMU. I have had her multiple times thus far and have no complaints. She is incredibly understanding and easy to talk to. She teaches everything well and if you have a problem w/ her teach, tell her and she might work it into her lectures more to suit your learning style

She is one of the best professors I have ever had here at CMU. She truly is passionate about math and cares deeply for her students. She is always available outside of class and is a great professor to listen to and learn from. I wish she could teach the rest of my math classes here on out.

LISA!!!!she is by far the best professor here at CMU. I had her for both MTH 232 and 233 she makes learning so fun. The fact that she can take a subject like Calc 3 and make it an easy and learnable subject speaks wonders. Math is can be such a hard subject to teach by she makes sure you have a full grasp of the subject through many examples.

Dr. Demeyer has been my favorite Math professor I have had yet, she makes math easy as long as you're willing to work with her. She makes coming to class worth it. Make sure to really study for the exams, and use SI if there is one in your class. Her exams are difficult but fair. Wish I could have her teach the rest of my math classes.

Professor Demeyer is hands down the best math teacher Ive ever had. She makes everything super easy to understand and goes through tons of examples very in depth. Shes extremely approachable and kind, and will answer any questions you may have. She made math class enjoyable when its usually a subject I loathe. I cant recommend her highly enough

I love her. She reminds me of a little pixie. Her tests are very straightforward so if you're able to follow her in class examples, you'll be set. She made taking a Friday class worth it.

Dr. Demeyer is without a doubt one of the best professors I have ever had. She makes the lectures engaging and she cares so much about what she is doing. I had her for both calc 2 and calc 3 and she made those classes so much better than I ever would have expected. If you have the ability to take a math class with her, do it!!

Talented. Brilliant. Incredible. Show-Stopping. Spectacular. Never the same. Totally Unique. Completely not ever been done before. On a serious note, Dr. Demeyer is one of the best math professors I have ever had. She's smart, humble, nice, and always willing to help. Hands down the best math professor I've had. The class is not easy, being an upper division grad class, but she is very explicit in her explanations. The class is not at all test heavy and high importance is placed on understanding rather than scoring a bunch of points. The subject is her expertise and you should certainly take her class.

Dr. Demeyer is a very caring professor and one of the best in the math department. Her door is always open, and she does her best to help students understand the material. I had Dr. Demeyer for MTH 644. I could never detail how awesome of a teacher she is ( especially compared with others in the dept). Amazing, fun lectures, and she plans the course well. The material was the hardest ive learned but i enjoyed it because of how well she teaches. & She always has her doors open to help. Lisa is wonderful!!

Dr. DeMeyer is an incredible professor. She makes the concepts easy to understand and is always willing to help with any questions. Exams were explained before we took them and the weekly quizzes were not too bad. I would take her again in a heartbeat. If you have any chance to take her, do it! She's worth it.
