We took this class studying abroad in Florence,Italy and it single-handedly ruined my experience. Every other class we took was interesting, fun, and the professors were amazing! Professor Mould seemed to enjoy seeing students struggle rather than seeing them succeed.I would have never registered for this class if I knew this professor before hand.

I absolutely enjoy going to this class. Tom is very passionate, approachable, funny, knows how to relate the material to help people understand, and adorable (the picture does not do him justice). I absolutely recommend anyone take a class with him, particularly an anthro class.

Tom Mould is definitely an awesome guy. Very intelligent, very personable...but very high expectations. If you have trouble with an assignment, just talk to him - he's more than willing to help you out. Even if you get a good grade, don't be surprised if/when he clutters your margins with comments that are not all complimentary. But it all helps!

If you have him for your fellows global class it's tough but the rest of the teachers aren't much better. He makes in class a lot of fun and explains things well. His assignments aren't bad, but he doesn't really grade according to the syllabus so write down what he says about the assignment in class. Extremely helpful with questions etc...

Dr. Mould teaches a fellows Global Studies class, and it's fairly difficult. At first it doesn't seem to be that difficult, however if you don't watch yourself you will soon find that your grades in the class are slipping. He makes the class very engaging, however very hard. If you're looking for an easy A, I'd suggest looking elsewhere.

Tom is an amazing professor. He's extremely passionate and tries to keep everyone's interest. He is a tough grader, but offers good feedback on papers and always provides grading rubrics. Always go through the rubric to be sure your papers fulfill every requirement. Take a class with him--he's the best professor I've had at Elon.

TOUGH grader, will talk about himself, his kids, and his work in class. reprimanded us like we were children, not clear enough about expectations, requires a TON of work. teaches this class with his wife (barnett) and they will undermine ea other in class.

Oh Tom... you will learn to love him for his personality, but quite frankly you'll want to kill him come paper time. He's a tough grader and he knows what he wants but not how to articulate it. On the bright side, he's REALLY passionate about what he teaches and he's more than willing to help you with outside stuff like references. I love him (now)

Tom is an amazing professor. He strives to make sure that his studies think critically about global issues that affect not only ourselves, but humanity as a whole. The papers can be difficult but he works with you and will always offer help.

Global was a good class. The papers were a challenge, but generally pretty worth it. They gave me an opportunity to stretch my understanding on certain topics. The one complaint I have is that it can be difficult to understand what he wants from a paper or, say, a final, but overall it worked out.

Obviously Elon 101 is easy but he is a very nice man who doesn't like to slack off. Don't pack up early! He hates that! Very receptive to meetings, always willing to help and passionate about his subjects.
