Comment:
The grading is points based so there's a lot of extra credit to be had, but the exams and quizzes are generally challenging. The quizzes are very similar to the homework he gives which is graded, but the exams are more conceptual. He does a lot of examples in his lectures. If you don't work out a lot of problems you can't expect to do well.

The lectures are mostly conceptual. Dr. K gives out preview problems before each test, quiz, final. Study these. These are VERY similar to the questions you will be tested on. There is extra credit on each, but there is no curve. He gives out paper homework weekly for a grade and online homework for extra credit. He offers plenty of help if needed.

Dr. K is fine, he is not the best but he is good. He has an accent but it's not too bad. Gives lots of extra credit opportunities. You have online and on paper homework but one of them is extra credit. Gives practice problems which are very similar to the questions on the test. Passed the class with over 100%

I really struggled with Calc 3 and I don't think Dr. K made it any easier. He does give review problems before tests and quizzes that help, but one really has to master the concepts. Gives extra credit for attendance and keeping a separate notebook for this class. He gives pretty decent lectures but his quizzes and tests are kinda hard.

Great professor, but if you are looking for an easy class, this is not the class you are looking for. He posts an outline of each exam before the exam with practice problems. DO THEM. The test questions will be very similar to those problems. The people giving him a 1 on here probably DIDN'T do those problems, and should only blame themselves.

He was either the best or the second best lecturer I have had. He prefers theory, but will do as many computational problems as the class desires. His accent is not too thick, he was a good sense of humor, and he grades relatively easily.

Dr. K. was an okay professor. His lectures focused more on theory, but the homework and tests are more application and computation. He is willing to help you, but he isn't great at explaining things. Curves tests and quizzes (i.e grades out of 200 but you can get 230). You get 5% e.c if you have less than 3 absences. 4 quizzes, 2 tests, and final.

He is a teacher who holds highly in what he teaches. His class is rigorous and expects no less from each individual, but if you care in your ability to understand mathematics, he is the teacher for you. He is very fair and understanding so as long as you show your effort, you will pass his class.

Dr K is always there to help. His lectures are pretty good and his 3D drawings on the board are amazing. Concepts come at you pretty quickly in calc 3 and there's lots of homework both online and due in class. Tests can be tough if you haven't completely mastered the concepts.

Good luck, he's not the best, but he's not the worst either. There are other harder teachers. Study pay attention, ask questions, don't be afraid. If you don't know then ask.

Dr.K is a funny guy and knows his stuff in geometry. I didn't like geometry in high school but he got me hooked. His tests aren't hard, it is base mostly on proofs you done in class. Just make sure you ask questions and do homework.

Wonderful professor. A personal favorite because he really knows his stuff and he cares about his students' understanding of the content. He did not go by a textbook but instead provides notes. He's very helpful and he provides meaningful challenges for his students so they can truly grasp the material.

Dr K... where do I begin? He's a great teacher, it's just his grading in this class was killing me. VERY specific. It's a time consuming class because he expects a lot out of his students. If I had applied myself even more, I probably would have made an A. No text, Exams are fair (but hard). Homework assigned weekly. Class participation required.

He's very helpful. Calc (for me at least) is not an easy course, but Dr. K REALLY wants you to succeed. He offers extra credit for attendance and lots of tests. You MUST go to class and take notes if you want to succeed. His tests are structured in a way to help you out. If you hate calc, like me, I recommend taking Mile.

Just started this class this semester (started 1/7, today is 1/24). Based on first impression, he is an excellent teacher. He explains the concepts well and in depth. He really encourages students to use all of their resources, and asks questions as much as possible. He actually cares about you understanding the content and doing well, unlike most.

Took over the summer. You can earn 1200 points (plus extra credit on tests and quizzes) but you only need 1000 for an A+. He takes away your bonus points if you miss more than 4 lectures. He spends more time deriving formulas than working on problems but if you put in an effort you can really understand the concepts.

I have had Mile 3 different times, Goemetry, High school methods, and The early history of Math. He cares more about students actual learning then giving A's. If you want A's and do not want to learn then dont take him. If you are interested in math and value learing over a grade. Then take him and you will probably get a B but learn A LOT.

Dr. K will help you as much as you possibly need whether thru email or during office hours. He is nice and speaks clearly (most of the time). His test are similar to his previews. He is not the best at posting dates and times for homework and test.
