Funny voice, not very clear. Really try and understand the homework questions and examples in class because the tests mainly focus on that and concepts from the book!

The worst part is how he lectures: pre-handwritten slides on a projector. He races thru each one, and I never listened to him speak because I was too busy trying to copy the slides before he moves them. Unfortunately the notes aren't great. The textbook is his gospel. Exams are long and detailed, and writing an article from WSJ weekly was annoying.

He's very thorough and you have to pay attention and attend every class to get a good grade. He explains the material clearly and as long as you get what he says in class then its easy to get an A, but you have to totally understand him in class when he's teaching the material.

Literally one of the worst teachers I've ever had. I tried harder in this class than any other class, and I failed. He has little to no interest in helping you out when you're struggling. Hell-bent on making sure I didn't pass. Stutters, class notes are everywhere, even if you teach yourself the entire subject, his tests are impossible.

Absolutely AWFUL. I thought it would be okay because some students simply do not get along with teachers and I figured if I try I could do well. Not the case. His class was so hard and he was not helpful in any way. He is nice as a person, I guess but try to do anything else because now I have to take Econ again. Great.

i would recommend taking this class if you hate your life, or if you wish to bring your GPA down a few points. agnello is incredibly hard and boring. 415 uses advanced statistics more than any economics. he does not explain material well. i barely got a C, and it was not worth the stress. avoid at all costs.

Agnello is a very thorough, friendly and helpful teacher. His enthusiasm made the subject interesting. But his exams are extremely hard. The final is worth 40%, and two exams are worth 25% each. Despite how competent I feel in Microeconomics, I ended up with a C.

This class was so hard! I went to every class, took notes during class, read all the chapters and studied for all the exams, but I still have a very low C. He's a nice guy and offers office hours but the class is really challenging. Other than the 2 exams and final, you only have a 10% homework grade, so it's easy to do poorly.

Hard class, basically like an advanced stat class more than an econ class, but he is understanding and will help you out, no one should get below a C in this class because he will give you a lot of extra points if he knows you go to class and are really trying.

I just didn't understand him. I had to drop the class because he gives you only two exams and I did horrible on the first. Just expects wayy too much out of a basic economics course.

Agnello is a nice guy. However, he is a pretty terrible teacher. His voice made me laugh the first couple days, then made me fall asleep for the rest of the semester. Way harder than the other 151 teacher because he usually teachers higher level classes. Don't go to class, just read the book and you'll be okay.

I really enjoyed the class. He is a really nice guy with a great sense of humor. If you pay attention in class and do the readings, you'll be fine on the multiple choice part of the exams. MAKE SURE you understand the Homework assignments or you will not do well at all in on the exams because half the exam is on the homeworks.

Yes, his voice is annoying, he doesn't answer questions well, and the final was really freaking hard, but I liked him anyway. He wants you to learn, even though he isn't a particularly good teacher. Conclusion: I wouldn't specifically recommend him, but if you have to take him, you'll be fine if you pay attention in class.

The honors section is not an easy class - memorize the textbook if you want a good grade. Lectures are confusing and somewhat pointless, but the textbook will save you as the lectures are directly from that. Exams are difficult, final paper was totally unnecessary, the final was ok. Agnello is very confusing, so read the textbook for success.

an unclear nerd who tends to grade toughly and expect too much. hard to study for his tests because homeworks are what you study but not necessarily what you see on the test.

The course can be boring, but it's definitely worth taking. Agnello really is a character. Don't bother taking notes during his lectures because he'll only confuse you...just enjoy his stories and tangents. The textbook is great and more than makes up for the lectures, so read thoroughly.
