Comment:
For the online class you basically read the chapters, take notes and then take three tests that determine your final grade. The tests are ridiculously hard and don't follow his powerpoint notes at all. I don't recommend taking this class. He also messed up on my final grade and I got a C when I deserved a B.

Enjoyed this man very much. Heavy reading and writing. If I could pick something to be different it would be his feedback on how the student is doing. There is none. He gives check plus/check minus on the homework. The only grade you receive is the mid-term so your final grade is sort of a surprise.

Took online course from Prof. Marsh - lots of writing and such, but found him very easy to communicate with when there were issues. Course was not too difficult, and he emails interesting additional material when relevant. Was a great first online course experience for me.

Class was great, but a little hard for an online class. LOTS of reading, papers easy, some tests were hard but we got to use our book. The teacher emails you interesting news stories, but very vague when you ask him a question

I'm not sure what the other guy is talking about but I found Professor Marsh to be incredibly helpful; He's always responded to my emails/papers right away. With the online class the tests are quite difficult, there's lots of reading required, but the rest of the class is quite easy. However, the "short" papers should be 5+ pages. Great class.

Not helpful. It takes multiple contacts with this prof. just to obtain simple information concerning field work, ie. validation numbers. The class isn't hard if you apply yourself and work the job like you should, but he makes getting to that point absolutely frustrating.

I love that he appreciates hard work but does not allow for suck ups to get anything extra in his classes--really love that
