I did not like this class. Due to covid it was online only and that made this class even harder. The teacher does not send email or reach out to students about when videos are posted. He also tell way to many stories that you lose focus on what he is talking about. The midterm was extremely long for no reason and this class is very east to forget.

Took him for online class, 50/50 recommend. Although it was an online course, he will not, ever, answer emails. Do not expect him to help you with something in an electronic format under any circumstances, even issues with exams. Also, check the page daily for new things due that day and lectures are long, use the book instead.

Honestly I zoned out on so many of his lectures. He's a really friendly guy tho and if you do the work you'll pass. His tests weren't based on the book, it was solely on his lectures. He had a tendency to talk a lot and confuse the point tho

Denger needs to get off his high horse and understand that he is the teacher of an intro level class, not the teacher of a high level class. This class should have been an easy A, however, he grades very hard and he intentionally makes his exams nearly impossible to get a good score on. So glad I will never have to hear another bear story from him.

He was a great guy and definitely someone you would want to grab a beer with, but I would't want to take this class again. He never sticks to the syllabus and he doesn't prepare for class. If you have a question outside class HE WILL NOT ANSWER EMAILS. While he tells interesting stories, you never really know what to jot down. Hard to follow.

With Dr. Denger's classes if you miss a class you either miss nothing or you miss everything, so it's better to just go back to class. He has lots of stories and examples to explain concepts, you just have to listen closely sometimes to connect everything together. Read the book if you're confused, it helps.

Though I thought he was nice and knowledgeable, the grading criteria was rarely clear, study guides would be released the day before a test, and took forever to get assignments back. Nice guy though.

There's lots of discussion and Dr. Denger has lots of good examples and stories, so it's really good to go to class. Dr. Denger can get off topic, but he usually finds a way to reroute it back to where he was originally going with it.

I highly recommend. He keeps his lectures really entertaining, although he does repeat the same stories sometimes. If you are having trouble with anything at all, talk to him outside of class. He really likes to see people trying, so he is always happy to help! He's just a great guy. As long as you are not a complete slacker, you'll be okay.

Super funny, probably the funniest professor here on campus. Always ties in very interesting stories with his lectures. Its a boring class but he at least gives you something to look forward to. Have to read the book, and it really sucks. If you don't you will crash on the final. Stop by his office to talk, he always has a good story to tell.

Funny guy. Makes speaking in front the class a little easier, even if you are really nervous. He Tells you exactly what he wants in a speech. As long as you follow the directions, you'll get a good grade.
