2 Exams. Biweekly quizzes. 1 Final. Weekly online hw (2 attempts but both scores are averaged out). Attendance is mandatory. The professor is pretty nice and has a small sense of humor; however it was difficult to understand him due to his accent so I had to self-study with his notes which were pretty useful.

Always had a fun time going to professor Saweris class. The class was easy, 5 tests or so, and a bit of quizzes. The course was relatively easier, compared to other mathematics courses, so just show up, pay attention, and you're golden.

Took during 5 week summer session. The professor is very friendly. He does have a bit of an accent but it is not too bad. He uses an online site for hw that also includes the ebook for the course. Fair grader, gives partial credit, easy lab assignments. 2 tests 1 final, 6 quizzes, 7 labs, several hw. If you have taken AP stats you should be fine.

Great professor. I dislike math immensely but he made the class fun. He is always very helpful. Come to all the class sessions and do all the online homework. If you pay attention and do the homework you should do pretty well. Hardly ever uses the book though so only buy it if you are serious about doing extra problems from it.

this teacher is awesome!!. i love him he is si funny and he teaches well he is so help full and gives so many extra credit points for no reason he just wantes you to pass but he does teacher so well he gives you a crap load of examples and a study guide.

I loved him! He is one of the most humble, dedicated, wonderful teachers I have ever had. I took Business Calculus 14 years after taking College Algebra and I had to work really hard to pass the class so I really appreciated the quality of his lectures and his efforts to help students be successful. He is interested in you learning. He is THE BEST!

I hate math, but I LOVE the way he teaches. He keeps the class interesting and fun, and is really passionate about teaching. Truly cares about his students and it is really hard not to love him. HIGHLY recommended!!!

I hate math, but this professor makes it really hard not to like him, because he is just so funny and nice. I really like the way he encourages his students when they get good grades and the way he acknowledges everyone in class, because most professors doesn't do that and they just teach really generically that it's boring, but he's awesome. :)

Oh Professor Saweris. What a gem of a guy. I HATE math, but he makes me want to like it. He's really funny and super helpful. It's obvious he loves his job. He shows genuine interest and concern in my progress in the class which I really appreciate. And he REALLY likes it when you have good attendance. I can't say a bad thing about him.

Great teacher, highly recommend for Math 130 @ CSUF. Prof assigns weekly homework online, and is a more than generous grader (e.c. points offered). I am not a math student (major is bio), and I actually enjoyed math for once. Tons of examples are given in lecture, attendance is MANDATORY.

AMAZING PROFESSOR! very nice and funny. His class was really enjoyable. Gives great examples which help with the test/quizes. Gives study guides before each test and lets you use a cheat sheet for every test and quiz. Truly a great professor, loved his class! and im not very good at math but his class really made it better!

Amazing teacher! Going to his class was always the highlight of my week. He always cracked the funniest and cutest jokes. Gives A LOT of extra credit. Tries to pass most of his students as long as they try hard!

Really nice professor. I had a hard time grasping calculus, but then again, I'm really bad at math. However, you can use cheat sheets on the tests/quizzes/final exam. If I can pass the class with a C...you can probably do better.
