He's a really great teacher! As long as you show up to class and really try, you'll get an A no problem. I would take a class from him again.

I consider myself to be a pretty athletic person and I have taken a martial arts class in the past, so I figured this would be a good one credit class to take to get an easy A and maybe get in a good workout. Only half of that was true. He grades insanely hard and only gives As for "extra credit." Very intimidating dude, too.

For a 1 credit course he does grade harder than expected. I thought self defense was going to be an easy A, but I ended up with a B+. I thought it was fun, and the uniform can be used if you take his Hapkido class. Others thought he was intense and scary, but the guy wouldn't harm his students. Overall, he's a pretty solid instructor.

Very good teacher, he explained things well and did two 'fun days' where he taught us flashy useless bits just for fun. Does grade rather hard though.

He made an easy A (self defense) way too hard. Most people dropped it the first week and I should have too. We had a midterm, final, and paper!?! It's a bloody elective! He sucks. But not bad lookin
