N/A. Never met Jerri or talked to her. Never responded to my emails. Never taught we only read the textbook and took online MC tests and quizzes and labs. Probably doesnt even exist in the first place.

She does practically nothing except posting the dates of the quizzes and tests. The tutors are all students, the lecture videos are not her, and she does not have to grade anything. I am not quite sure what she gets paid for, but if you truly use all of your resources you can get an A/B.

The class was taught through online lecture videos, an online textbook, and practice problems. For each chapter, I just read though the relevant part of the textbook and did a lot of practice problems. Do that, and you'll be fine. I'm guessing that most people who do poorly in this course aren't spending enough time with the practice problems.

She doesn't teach you anything unless you go to her office hours. I'm not really sure what her job is since everything is auto-graded and the labs are run by the TA's. However, the tests and quizzes are the exact same questions as the practice problems (just with different numbers), that's the only good thing about this class.

Unfortunately, Professor England does not make herself available for office hours often, and we are often left to learn the material completely on our own. Not to mention the online textbook is not optimal for learning a college-level course.

I've never met Professor England since this is a Math Empo course, so I can't really rate her. I'd recommend doing the practice problems, they're super handy when it comes to quizzes and exams. You'll use the textbook, but it really isn't that useful. If you have trouble, office hours are available and tutoring as well, which is really helpful.

class was all online, so very much on your own; my recommendation is to spend time reading the textbook (don't waste time on taking notes tho, I stopped after the third chapter) and then solely do practice problems before the quizzes; quiz is basically the practice problems, if you need help def use the help zoom button on the practice problems

My class was online asynchronous, so the entire course was self taught with the help of an online textbook and Math Empo. helpers. If you were good at Calc in before this class, you should be fine. DO THE PRACTICE PROBLEMS! The prac. probs are the best resource for studying bc they are the exact type of questions you will be quizzed/tested on.

She doesn't teach you; you have to watch the videos by yourself and go through the practice independently. However, there are TAs that can help you with the practice if you utilize them and you SHOULD! I never hesitated getting help and that really helped my grade, especially compared to peers who didn't and suffered. The labs were hard for me.

This was the hardest class I have ever taken!! Since this class was fully online it was more of a challenge but I pushed through. Her office hours are the most helpful things and she is willing to help you. But you really have to dedicate yourself to this course because if not you will fall behind and not do as well as you may have wanted to.

If I could rate 0 I would. This is the worst class I have ever taken. She did nothing for this class or to help us. You are expected to teach yourself. The amount of work this class demand with zero help is impossible.

Alright, here's the skinny. Professor England will not be teaching this class. You're going to get handed a textbook and access to the Math Empo online quiz system. It's up to you to teach yourself the material. Two unrelated notes: The quiz system doesn't track your computer activity, and I've heard great things about Symbolab and Chegg.

I have never seen this professor before taking this class. She does absolutely nothing unless you go out of your way to show up to office hours. This is completely self-taught. There is a quiz every week, and an exam and lab every two weeks. If you want to hate your life then I highly recommend taking this class.

DO NOT TAKE JERRI'S CLASS. I'm warning you right now do not take this ladies class. She straight up doesn't teach. If Jerri is a teacher than I think anyone in this world could be one. She hasn't done a single thing this whole class. She doesn't even make the videos it's someone else! I wish I could give Jerri a 0/5 she don't even deserve a 1.

Jerri is one of the WORST teachers I have ever had. I am in her online class for the fall 2020 semester and she's God awful. I've never even heard her voice or seen what she looks like. I honestly don't know how she still has a job. She doesn't teach you anything literally everything is self taught. If you are going to take this class I wouldn't.

Jerri England does not teach. With her supplementary lectures you do not learn anything if you have not already learned the basics of the material. She teaches like you already know what she is doing. This is, without a doubt, the hardest class I have ever taken in my life. You need a tutor tutor to pass.

If you want to pass you need either a tutor or to have learned this material from somewhere else. Jerri England will not teach you this material. Your class time is not going to teach you what is on the test or the quizzes, but you must be in attendance because the "labs" that you do are needed to get a decent grade. Get a tutor if you want to pass

I saw Jerri England on syllabus day, and she was very rude. That's it. You teach this entire class to yourself. It's terrible. There's no way out of it if you're a business major, so you pretty much have to suck it up for a semester. I find if you put some rotten eggs or spoiled milk into one of the math lockers (try 41, still there), it helps.
