Professor Garcia truly loves teaching thats something you notice right away. Ngl this class was hard, but not because of him but because Organic chemistry is hard. He teaches everything you will need for his tests and the best thing is that he does not read from a ppt. If you study everything from your notes since day 1, be prepared for a nice A.

Professor Garcia is one of the best chemistry professors you will ever take, also caring, 3 tests and a cumulative final. You do have to study like never before because this is the most complicated class in college, but he explains everything perfectly and give you extra credit. I recommend you study from day 1 and take the class very seriously.

Professor Garcia is an outstanding professor, and he's very knowledgeable. I wish all professors are as articulated and intelligent as he is. His lectures are precise and detailed made it easier for students to understand. His class is simple study the notes, and you will do well and do not cheat. He's simply the best chemistry professor ever.

This class was online d/t COVID-19. Really knowledgeable Prof & teaches extremely well. Weekly graded, open notes quizzes of previous week's lecture. No make-up quizzes, DON'T MISS CLASS! No midterm, 1 proctored final exam-allowed to use 1 cheat-sheet (back & front). No pretense labs ex. Labster. Uses zoom, writes notes while he explains. Take him!

HE IS THE BEST CHEMISTRY PROFESSOR, AND HE EXPLAINS THE MATERIAL VERY WELL. HE ALSO GIVES YOU MULTIPLE EXERCISE TOUNDERSTAND. HIS EXAMS ARE SIMILAR TO THE PRACTICE EXAMS.

If someone tells you Garcia is easy, they're lying to you. He is FAIR. I worked very hard for my B. However, the guy explains things incredibly well and takes the time to help you understand. Other professors don't care and wish they could explain things as well as Garcia. If you think Orgo 1 is easy you have another thing coming for you.

Virtual classes were through zoom which only had a capacity for 40 students so the rest of the 100 student class had to wait for a recording to show up. Handwriting was really hard to understand. Only gave exams. No extra credit, no homework to bring up grade. Was rude and interrupted class with personal things off topic.

This professor is an angel in disguise. He pushes students to do their best. I took him for both the lab and the lecture. If you were having any doubts about your understanding of chemistry, Prof. Garcia will help you UNDERSTAND and REMEMBER the material. His exams are exactly what he teaches, no trick questions, etc. Gives lot of extra credit.

Professor García is the best. He loves chemistry and is hilarious. If you take his class you will learn chemistry for sure. I am between B and A, not sure yet, but Im taking a lot of knowledge with me for the future. Take notes of his class and study and you will be fine.

Professor Garcia is the best science professor at MDC hands down. He is extremely smart, caring, compassionate and helpful teacher you will ever have. He is sooooo clear with his lectures. Orgo 2 is hard and you have to put the work for real to make it but he does not give you anything tested he doesnt say. He needs a promotion ASAP!!!!
