Great professor. I had many classes with Dr. Browne and learned a lot in each one. He cared that you learned the material, not just got a good grade.

Words cannot describe how wonderfully great this professor was. He is the reason I completed SIUE. The greatest teacher of all times and I am surpirsed with all the bad reviews as I believe students who were already failing in othe classes would have nothing positive to say. Great Awesome Teacher. He ROCKS!

When I entered Professor Brown's intro to Anthropology it was to merely fill a requirement, but I was pleasantly surprised. Dr.Brown made the material interesting and fun. He always welcomed questions and was willing to help during office hours if need be. In short I was glad I had such a good professor to make a mandatory class great!!

Dr.Dallas as I affectionately call him, was an amazing educator who took a keen interest in me and incouraged me to become more socially concious. He inspired me and encouraged me, he was a guide and a beacon during difficult times in my personal life and not only do I feel great admiration for this profound educator, I feel that I owe him!!!

There is no amount of money that can pay for the knowledge Dr. Browne provided me with and for the excellent Professor he is. I remember taking Anth as an elective, and after that first class, I decided to take more Anth classes and ended up with a double major. He is a great professor who educates us, but its up to us to want to learn. Priceless!!

He is the most unorganized professor I have ever had. He will assign a paper and tell you that he will give details later, but they never come. He will give reviews out and then realize he left information out and not give the new review to everyone. He will be late to class, but get mad when a student is late. He will miss scheduled appointments.

Worse teacher i've ever had! Always late, doesn't show up for scheduled conferences with students, and always talks about sex. I'm no longer interested in Anthropology, thanks to him!

Worst teacher I have ever stumbled upon. Thinks he is better than everyone else, late for class, puts things on tests we've never covered, doesn't show up for conferences w/ students. He knows anthropolopy but shouldn't be a professor. Very rude and should be fired from the university.

Words can't describe this man, very unorganized and unprepared. It is a wonder of how he is still a teacher. You learn more about sex than you do about Anthropology. He is easy as long as you study the guide study that he gets if you can follow it. Good luck!!

Very nice, but probably the least clear prof. I've ever had. I never missed a day of class, but his study guide never matched my notes. I got an A, but I'm not quite sure how. Beware.
