Dr. Albrecht is seriously the best teacher I have ever met. TAKE HIS CLASS, YOU WONT REGRET IT!!! I was in his freshman seminar, Bachs Best, this semester. He turned what I initially expected to be a boring class into the best part of my week. Dr. Albrecht is not only extremely qualified, but cares deeply about his students too. Love him!

Dr. Albrecht was my seminar professor, and I can say without a doubt that I'm glad I chose him. I read all the reviews before and could not believe the hype a music teacher could get, but he really did live up to them. His passion for his craft is unrivaled and he also deeply cares about each student. Take him and learn not only music but life too.

Hands down... best professor at Emory. I took this class as a freshman seminar requirement, and it was the highlight of my semester. He really pulled through to make this online semester better as he truly cares about you and your health. Lectures can be a lot, but he makes them engaging, entertaining, and collaborative. 10/10 recommend.

He truly is a caring professor who always takes time in class to tell the class how much he cares about teaching us (especially since we are now online in the pandemic). He also makes each class meaningful, participation heavy, and interactive. He loves what he teaches to an admirable level. Easy-ish work, profound knowledge gained!

Professor Albrecht truly cares for his students; not just their academics, but also their wellbeing. Academics wise, study the study guide and pay attention in class for an A. But beyond academics, Prof Albrecht and his class inspires me to pick up the violin again. This 3 credit class is worth more than all the A's I've received this semester

One of the most phenomenal professors at Emory. As a teacher, he really encourages you to experience music as a beautiful form of human expression. No real music background is needed just a willingness to learn. Class content is listening and basic music terminology and history. Dr. Albrecht has become my favorite professor at Emory. His passion for what he teaches shows and he makes you excited to learn opera. He cares about his students like his own children and really wants his students to succeed. On top of it, he is hilarious and his personal stories make class worthwhile. I'm going to miss his jokes.

Dr. Albrecht is a wonderful professor who is very enthusiastic about opera education. I took the course because I'm a performance major and wanted to learn more about opera, but it turns out I came in with a lot of knowledge. The course is well structured for a true introduction course if you know nothing and if you attend class, you will get an A.

I took MUS 110 with Dr. Albrecht to fulfill a HAP requirement, but it ended up being one of my favorite classes at Emory. Dr. A's personal anecdotes & unique style of lecturing make each class interesting and easy to follow. He may seem a bit eccentric at first but if you get to know him, you'll find that he's a really sweet, well-intentioned guy.

Amazing professor. I took this class to fill HAP. Dr. Albrecht truly understands his students and he tries his best to help students. Nicest professor I've had at Emory. His class lectures are very interesting as his input of personal anecdotes and interesting stories about musicians really connect students to the topic. 10/10 recommend this class
