Overall a straightforward and easy class at least for online. We used Mcgrawhill to connect for all the homework assignments. Lots of reading and discussing your future and etc. Just do the assignments even though they are kind of tedious, they are really easy to get through. Little to no quizzes at all and a three-part final project.

Prof Oliveri made me look forward to 3 hour evening classes after a full work day! The lectures are very interesting as he shares personal and real-life experiences that tie into the chapters. His instructions and grading is very straight forward - do the work and you WILL pass.

Professor Oliveri is a very good professor but the general class format leaves much to be desired. the tests are difficult even though they are open book, but you can still get a good grade with a very poor test grade. just do all the work available and you will pass.

He is very funny by telling all his personal stories which may reflect some concepts from the textbook. Always review a bit before the class since it is almost 1 hour and half. Partial credits, and finish hw online on time. You will pass. He even spends time talking about how to make up the grades. Really learnt a lot!

His quizzes are really tricky. Besides that, veeerrrrryyyyyyy easy and fun class. He incorporates his life into his lectures. Homework is due every other Sunday, I guess depending on the semester, takes about 30 mins top. 5 or 6 quizzes, lowest score is dropped. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS EASY A CLASS.

Took his class 2x. Here's what you need to know: - He treats you like a real adult. You show up to class, you don't show up to class, that's completely up to you. He is a great professor and I took his business 1 course on the Malibu campus, though sometimes his lectures are boring, he applies his life lesson into class teaching that you can actually apply to yours. You MUST study the book to get a god grade on quizes and exams.. Your grade is reflected on your quizes and exams.

Prof. Oliveri is great. Very knowledgeable and helpful. I enjoyed his lectures, he didn't focus on the book material too much (you can do that at home), he mostly tried to give real business examples related to the chapter. I learned a lot and I highly recommend to not miss his lectures since he often tells you what questions will be on the test.

Lectures are long and it makes sense its not a calculus based class its all concepts. He does his best to give you all the tricks for the exams and explains well the material. He has field experience so the class is more alive with him. Take him if you like to attend class and read a bit at home and you will pass with easy A

Taking his class on the Malibu campus in Fall 2014 was a great experience. He was humorous, cracked jokes during the lectures, and put real life business situation into lecture instead of teaching straight out of the book. He was one of my favorite professors by far.

Really easy Business 1 class. Took him Spring 2014. Do the online homework and come to class for exams. Attendance isn't mandatory, but he does give answers to exams out in class. Either way it's mostly online. Should call it a hybrid class. Easy A.

Taking this class for Spring semester 2014. Highly recommend this professor. He makes his lectures interesting and funny. He is HOT so paying attention to lecture is very easy...unless you start letting your imagination run wild(i know I do sometimes) But overall, great class and can't stress the importance of online hw enough. VERY helpful.

Joe is awesome! He's not your average professor, he's a professional who actually works in the business world and teaches this class on the side. He will teach what is important and skip through the "boring" stuff, he makes learning fun and teaches you the skills you need in the professional world
