Comment:
Hsieh is a solid professor! You will have 3 homework assignments BUT they are easy if you pay attention in lecture! Coz it will be hard to catch up again! The midterms are the same as the final, however, all exams are comprehensive. So, midterm 1 covers all content before it. Midterm 2 covers all content between midterm 1 and 2. And so on.

Professor Hsieh is a great instructor and made everything clear to understand. There were 4 homework assignments that he gives you a week to do and a midterm and a final that resemble the homework a lot. Make sure to go to class and pay attention because the material is easier that way. If you miss, it might be hard to get back on track.

This professor is the most clear, caring, efficient, and straightforward professor ever taken for any math. I failed stats 2xs at PCC and 1 time at CSULA. This professor is the best, he is extremely clear and easy to understand. He will teach you Barney style( step by step), real problems that he will use on the test. No HW, No Book, not confusing

I took several classes with this gentleman. He is so clear, concise, precise and direct, that its difficult for one to NOT understand the material. He is often giving more examples than before too, which is wonderful. He is superb. Definitely a gem at CSULA.

Excellent instructor. Don't really need the textbook since he gives out handouts which are very similar to his quizzes and tests. He spoon feeds the whole class, makes things really really easy to understand. 2nd Half of the class is supposedly harder but he teaches so well it doesn't even matter. No hw either.

He is a good professor. The material is boring at times but come on, this is a math class, what didi you expect? Do you homework and come to class and pay attention. PUT DOWN YOUR CELL!!!!!! and youll do fine in his class. He was so good that I had taken him for econ 209 previously and took him the next quarter for this 309. Be respectful.

Nice professor. Lectures can become boring at times. He will teach the entire class period. Book that he use is super cheap (msrp $20). He is extremely helpful. He goes over the hw in class with students so that they are prepared for exams. Midterm + HW + final = grade. Please be nice and behave in a civilized manner if u gonna take him.

He was a really good teacher, he used a study guide as a textbook to help students save money, and he was really clear in his lectures. You really have to understand the material to do well in his class though, he has a strict grading scale, no curve.

He's a good professor, grades fairly, and gives easy but relevant homework. He also gives you points just for showing up to class. He was, however, not helpful for the term paper. He gives you very vague directions, telling you to "tell a good story," but doesn't explain what kinda of "story" he wants.

he is a good professor, answers all questions, and helps students if they ask for it. his assignments are easy, and he informs you so much about school policies and steps needed to graduate. if you want answers take him. he prepares you so that during your time at csula, you know what to do.

If you think that his BUS 301 is hard, than you shouldn't be in school. His assignments are easy, interesting, and very helpfull to you. Research is time consuming, but this will help you with ohther classes since most of them will require some kind of report or paper. This research paper was nothing comparing to Stretch's MKT 304 report.

He's one of the BEST econ professor in CSULA! His lectures are extremely helpful and easy to understand. His test questions sometimes come straight from the hw questions (he doesn't collect hw but you just do it for your own good). Once you have questions, he'll take his time to answer all until you get it.
